  1. I know that highlight tapes are just highlight tapes, but I was very impressed. Aside from Hardin, he could turn out to be our best playmaker since Dressler/Chappel.
  2. Sorry to ask, but who's he?
  3. Sound now up (on Google Chrome).
  4. Thanks. Good luck the rest of the way.
  5. Gotta give the offensive line a lot of credit, too. We rushed for 297 yds. against a first place team. Very happy for Garman, too, rushing for 235 in his final home game and the most for a UND runningback, according to the announcers, since Chappell in 2006.
  6. Thanks for starting this thread. He's a senior that definitely deserves some kudos. As you mentioned, he's had very little playing time the first three years of his career and probably had as much reason to quit as anyone, but had the character to stick it out. Had he quit, he never would have experienced the success that he's experienced so far this season. I think there's a lesson here for anyone thinking of quitting anything, because you never know what might be just around the corner.
  7. Would guess he'll be out of spring ball for sure, and hope he's good to go by Aug. 1.
  8. But that's also when it's least expected.
  9. 20-17 Sioux
  10. Wow, talk about playing through to the whistle. Guy's an animal. Bubba's starting to get you some hogs, geaux_sioux.
  11. Quit confusing the issue with facts. (totally agree).
  12. Facility-wise?
  13. The IPF, coupled with the new coaching staff and the beginnings of on-field success, is going to be a real game-changer on the recruiting trail. Perhaps we're already starting to see that???
  14. With the football program starting to turn around, I'm thinking that the giving toward Phase II may start to pick up. It would be nice to get an update on how much has come in since the last update and how much we still need for completion of both Phases.
  15. If so, that's a shame, after all the effort he's put into getting back from his injury two years ago. Not to mention, he's one of the team leaders.
  16. Didn't he say earlier (or maybe he was outed) that he was an SU fan?
  17. Was including Ferguson on my list, too. Not sure what his injury is or how serious, but, needless to say, it would be great to have him back next week.
  18. This bye week couldn't have come at a better time with, by my count, 8 players out with injuries, at least two of whom are outfor the season (Ruhe and Woodsmall). Hopefully, we get 3 or 4 players back for Southern Utah; not too optimistic about either Simmons or McGill, though.
  19. Gas should be cheaper in Kansas City than in Springfield because it's a much bigger market, more competition, etc. The factthat Springfield is usually cheaper than Kansas City (by up to $0.20) indicates that it's more of a free market with true competition and makes Kansas City look more cartel-ish.
  20. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that our state gas tax ($0.173) is one of the lowest in the nation (only 5 states have a lower gas tax). Also, we're located relatively close to several refineries (3 in Kansas, 6 in Oklahoma, and 2 in Arkansas). Oddly, when I was in Springfield for the UND-Mo. St. game a few weeks ago, prices there were about $0.20 lower than Kansas City.
  21. $2.77 at Sam's and Costco in Kansas City.
  22. Thanks. That answers it.
