If the only game I had ever seen UND play was last Saturday's game, I'd have no problems with Murphy being in.
But that's not saying much.
I also do not think Murphy being in the lineup is a make or break thing.
The idiot said Hockey East should always get 5 teams in if they are a 12 team conference.
That explains enough about his thought process for me to come up with a conclusion.
I've seen QU play a few times. I don't think their goalie is exactly what I would call a "hot goalie." But I don't think he's a slouch either. I'm just not sure if he's a product of playing on a good team or not.
I would have been more concerned if they would have given us Yale. Their goalie would concern me.
Most chatter around the interwebs is that Zane will win. I'm not sure who decides the award, but I would hope it's not people who look straight at stats. I would hope they pick a winner who consensus feels is the best goalie.
Well if one of the goals he had disallowed over the years (2 vs Miami in a blow out game last year come to mind) that should have counted would have counted, he wouldn't be 1 point shy of the Century Club.
I blame the refs.
I am a UND fan, it's in my nature
If you want to pick and choose which games to count stats or (which is what you are doing with the bolded sentence) that's fine.
Also shots per game is a difficult stat to gauge because how many of these are routine shots on goal and how many are high quality?
When I look at stats, I go the all games road.

But really did think anyone here was going to agree with you anyway? Just saying.
Reading this thread is getting me super bummed I'm not going to Oxford for this series this year. Was a great time last year.
If anyone is going, if you park in the church parking lot by the rink, you probably won't get a parking ticket
