  1. So clearly Lucia knew what he was doing when he over recruited at forward for 2013?
  2. I believe he's actually a BC fan. If his screen name is the same as his USCHO persona.
  3. They know 3 cheers. That they copied from the Badger student section. Enough said.
  4. Someone went on Facebook and commented for everyone to vote Corban instead of Danny so as to to not split votes. Probably why he's in 6th. Total BS. Vote both. There are ways. They both deserve our support.
  5. I'm not looking at wins, Im looking at play. I've thought they were playing with fire for a while to be honest, winning games while not playing well. I get that good teams find ways, but at some point, you have to turn a corner if you want to have success in the tournament here.
  6. Well, yes. But the comment I was replying to, didn't have the Sioux in the discussion I think both teams will win their first games, and that whoever sucks less will win the regional...
  7. With the way Minny is playing, I don't know if you can pencil them in the regional final quite yet.
  8. It's that little, tiny one-game suspension in game 1 that is the problem.
  9. Director's Cut is awful. I wish anyone luck trying to figure out how to follow the game watching that if they still do that.
  10. What is he supposed to do? There was a men's game going on at the same time! In case you forgot, there was a home game last night. I don't think you realize how much he has to do for home games. He has to delegate the work. By the time overtime started at the women's game, we were an hour from puck drop at the Ralph. Your complaining to the wrong people. You want something changed? Send Jayson and email and tell him you were displeased about the media coverage. Or you could go over to USCHO and see Gopher fans raving about the media coverage of the game that we have on UNDSports.com. The weather also prevented the Herald getting to Minneapolis as well. The SID isn't the media here. Your disappointed because he didn't tweet enough about the game? Really?
  11. Minnesota basically got 3 powerplays in OT alone. (one was a carryover from the ending seconds of regulation). UND had 2 the whole game, one of which was that 5 minute major. On USCHO, a Gopher fan is bitching about the officiating, and saying he doesn't want to hear any UND fans bitching about the officiating. I'm sorry, but that officiating won them the damn game. And it was clear at the game that the refs decided to decide the game. I hate that. Let the players decide it. I'm just sad for the girls that the game had to end like that. My theory on the unwritten rule about calling penalties in OT has gone out the window. And they shouldn't even have gotten that power play that scored the game-tying goal either. Terrible call. But it is what it is. Hopefully in a few years we'll turn the tables on them.
  12. I sure hope you all don't think D is the main problem with this team.
  13. UND SID is not the main contact for women's hockey. Tweets on women's hockey are mainly going to be covered by the official UND Women's Hockey twitter account and Idalski's twitter account, along with others involved first hand with the program. You'll see others chime in, but for to the wall media coverage, you have to go to these other accounts.
  14. I think you're reading a bit too much into that. It wasn't the only one he deleted. Could be a privacy thing. People delete tweets all the time, for various reasons.
  15. I try, but sometimes I just miss them! ... Like when it goes down to 55 through Fargo. Gets me every time.
  16. I am going with two as well. One of the few that is apparently...
  17. I don't know about superstition, but I pay attention to "signs"
  18. I saw on Twitter that the rumors are that he will only report to 2 QMJHL teams - St John or Quebec.
  19. If he would've asked me, I could've told him how to get to GF by avoiding that stretch of 94 (depending on other closures though). Haha.
  20. Well he did say earlier this year he was at that time in the "4th year" mindset. And I'm going to say not much has changed there.
  21. Another thing to take into account is the relationships players may or may not have with former players that have left early and those that have stayed. Most early departures we have had recently have regretted it. All in all I think we've done a good job at retaining players possibly longer than most expected them to be around, and that's a credit to the culture of the program.
  22. If I made picks, Bjugstad likely wouldn't be on mine. Maybe 3rd team.
  23. He is an affiliate as well. To join full time, the USHL team would have had to add him to their active roster. Lincoln did that with Vinni Lettieri last year and he played the rest of the season. Im thinking they would've had to do that a while ago, but not 100 percent.
  24. Affiliates are usually Futures and Entry draft picks. They can play limited games throughout the season. Gersich is an affiliate player because he is not on the main roster this season. plans for next year dont matter until the late summer. It allows the Lancers to protect his rights so he doesn't reenter the draft and go to another team. Players can move from the affiliate list to the active roster though, which is what happens after the high school season for high school players who play more than the 6 games.
