When I got the streaming set up, they didn't have a per weekend fee set up. I see now they have a day pass. But that's 14.95 per game, which is stupid when they list the monthly package at 18.95. (apparently I was wrong about the 24.95 price - must have read incorrectly earlier) http://www.nchc.tv/packages

I had decided to pay monthly instead of that annual fee in case there's a month where I'm going to more games in person - then I could just cancel for the month I wasn't going to use it a lot. But that was before they raised prices. Now that they raised their month prices from 14.95 to 24.95 I'm trying to decide if I'm better off just getting Midco. I am paying the lower price now, but if I cancel I'm going to get stuck with that 24.95 monthly price.

I agree. Prior to Friday's game, Peski had been solid. He had a rough night, confidence took a hit. I'm willing to cut him some slack 5 games into the season. Honestly though, IMO, when Wolanin went out with injury they should have never had Peski and Johnson on a D pairing.

Exactly my thoughts. Not a smart move at all.

Unless Wolanin is healed, I think we'll see Peski. In fact, I would like to see how he responds.

Who is going to tell Media Relations that record in the last 5 games is wrong? We tied and won last year as noted, and the year prior was a split, losing 5-1 at home and winning like 3-2 or 2-1 in Bemidji. (I remember this because we left my cousin's wedding reception early to watch the rest of the game).That puts us at least with a 2 in the win column.

Prior to the season there was an interview with Hennessy and he thought for having a young team, it's good that the schedule kind of builds its way up in terms of difficulty. Canisius to RPI to BSU is a step up each week IMO.

The fact that he's made such astute observations after viewing one of our games and 2 Gopher games astounds me. What a great snapshot.

BU's leading returning scorer had half the amount of points as Boeser last year. I thought that was interesting. Interested to see how much of an improvement they are from last years BU team that DU destroyed at regionals.

I saw some of those box scores and I heard a lot of complaining from fans of teams that I deem as chippy themselves so I wonder how much of it is brought on by their own teams. There was a lot of complaining out of Quinnipiac fans and I think we all know that's a pretty chippy team.

Honestly, the emergence of social media has caused a lot of issues, or just made them more obvious than they were before Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat were things... I was just talking to a co-worker about how social media has made me see how mean spirited today's younger generation truly are, when you see comments from Twitter trolls telling people they're racist and they should kill themselves (as an example).... and when someone calls them on it, they don't see anything wrong with what they said.

I sense I will continue to be called a racist by opposing hockey fan bases for the foreseeable future...

The last game we played at Mariucci? I remember a tie? And giving up a 2 goal lead to settle for that tie. Guess I didn't think it was that awesome. *shrugs*

I'm not paying that money for a regular season game. My ticket to the national championship game was less than 70 bucks, for comparison sakes. If you have money and are willing to shell it out, I applaud you, but I'd rather keep that for things like... Regionals or Frozen Fours.

That's not new, though. Been like that as long as I've been buying to this series. Glad I am declining this year.
