My flight gets in a little after 11am Thursday. Supposed to be a 2 hr drive to Tampa. Flights into Tampa just didn't work with my schedule (or price range)

I decided to fly into Fort Myers, rent a car, and drive. I'm going solo at this point so if anyone else is looking to save some costs on hotel, let me know!

I'm desperately trying to make this work. Dirt cheap lodging would be really helpful...

Your beef is with CBS Sports, not NCHC TV. I believe the contract with CBS says games cannot be streamed when they are on CBS. Which is why the 3rd place game is streamed, but not the other 3 games.

The fact that Lindgren made 1st team over Cam and Kaskisuo from UMD, who was the league's goaltending champ, was really odd.

I feel like we're all assuming the Atlantic Hockey autobid will be RMU. They could you know... lose in the conference tourney like they did last year... (Just to play devil's advocate)

I wasn't impressed with the sportsmanship during the awards ceremony, but then again, I didn't attend Eden Prairie High School either. That school expects to come home with a championship. Look at how many of their sports teams compete every darn year at a state tournament and how many of them come home with those championships. I wouldn't have behaved that way in my high school days because my high school never qualified for state in really any team sport so if we had I would have just been thrilled to have been there. When these kids get older I think they'll learn to appreciate the opportunities they have as opposed to expect them.

Part of me isn't sure what to think of them because we did play them in regionals last year, and I wasn't blown away, but that was last year and like it was already said, you don't win that many games by accident. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Tampa, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see them exit in the first round either.

If SCSU is ahead of us in PWR and we are both 1 seeds, they'll be at the X. The NCAA is not smart enough to know SCSU won't draw big crowds. This has happened before. In 2010, they put SCSU and Wisconsin at the X and we were shipped east.

Perhaps, but honestly IMO there's probably not that many that would be a good fit. Plus, I'm not sure you want to disrupt too many of the other lines either.

I find it odd that to defend the Minnesota program that CHN article and Lucia in the Beyond the Pond interview both make the claim that they've won more games than UND in the last so many years... like, thanks for the shoutout?

Wilkie was a -3 last night. Might have something to do with it... I know not everyone likes the plus/minus stat, but just trying to determine a reasoning...

IMO, Berry is more likely to scratch Gersich than a)put him on the second line or b)put LJ on the 3rd/4th line. Don't like it, but it is what it is.
