SCSU's fans are the definition of sore winners so I won't cry too hard if a little karma comes their way.

No argument here. We've got some other guys with some good speed coming in also, so he'd help add even more in that area too. I just don't think it's that likely, but I've been wrong before. I'd have no complaints if he decided to come here.

Oh I've seen him play, but it was in high school. He just hasn't gotten as much hype as some of the other recruits we have. I was excited when he committed.

Last time they had the choice between the 2 they put SCSU there and had crappy attendance. Minnesota didn't make the tourney though so it was Wisco and SCSU to try to draw fans.

One of the CHN guys was on the Pipeline Show last night and he said basically are odds are up to 90% or higher of UND getting in. I'm not sure on the exact percentage. They ran a bunch of simulations and only found a few scenarios that would knock us out. A couple wins should get us in.

Dude, I had one of your own fans tell me how much he hates your fanbase so the holier than thou attitude can stop right now. You act like we're all picking on you, or your fanbase. Which is BS. I mean, I got name called by SCSU fans for winning the fan of the week contest. And what did I do to deserve that? Go to a hockey game, where the jersey of the team I'm a fan of and enter a contest? Yes. I totally deserved that. Enjoy the league championship. We have more important things to worry about.

SCSU is a good matchup for Miami. They split the season series with them, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them win the series. I know their fans like the matchup better than coming here. I guess either outcome of that series wouldn't surprise me.

Everyone should just head over to Dinky at some point to mess with those people over there.

To be fair, they told him he could still come but were upfront about the situation. Danny Mattson just decided to pursue other opportunities.

He can still be drafted in the USHL draft. And I'd be surprised if he wasn't this summer.

I've just looked at it as his spot can go to someone who really wants to be here.

I feel like the fact that we got a sweep at a time when we were playing poorly says something... Maybe it's just me.

Anything that makes SCSU fans unhappy (aka playing Miami) is okay with me so I consider this all a win-win situation. I prefer winning the Cup though. I like winning.

NCHC rationalized it to SCSU fans on Twitter as rewarding actual wins instead of shootout wins and ties. Personally, considering the lead SCSU had in the conference title race, they should only be mad at themselves for not putting it away earlier. It'd be interesting if we win the league having been the only team in the league to have not been in a shootout this year.

I think that's hilarious because those two are friends off ice.
