I'd bet good money he won't be here. Not that I wouldn't want him here because I'm not crazy, but I have a feeling he'd look at who we have coming in and wonder where there was room for him. Now if he'd be willing to defer for a few years, that'd be a completely different story.

Last time they had the choice between the 2 they put SCSU there and had crappy attendance. Minnesota didn't make the tourney though so it was Wisco and SCSU to try to draw fans.

One of the CHN guys was on the Pipeline Show last night and he said basically are odds are up to 90% or higher of UND getting in. I'm not sure on the exact percentage. They ran a bunch of simulations and only found a few scenarios that would knock us out. A couple wins should get us in.

SCSU is a good matchup for Miami. They split the season series with them, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them win the series. I know their fans like the matchup better than coming here. I guess either outcome of that series wouldn't surprise me.

Everyone should just head over to Dinky at some point to mess with those people over there.

To be fair, they told him he could still come but were upfront about the situation. Danny Mattson just decided to pursue other opportunities.

Anything that makes SCSU fans unhappy (aka playing Miami) is okay with me so I consider this all a win-win situation. I prefer winning the Cup though. I like winning.

NCHC rationalized it to SCSU fans on Twitter as rewarding actual wins instead of shootout wins and ties. Personally, considering the lead SCSU had in the conference title race, they should only be mad at themselves for not putting it away earlier. It'd be interesting if we win the league having been the only team in the league to have not been in a shootout this year.

Pattyn is on the PP because when we have to dump the puck on the PP when the opposition stacks all their guys at the blue line he is one of our best puck retrieval guys, not possession. This was stated on the live chat during one of the previous games.

Murphy has had a ton of shots IMO, so I'm not sure how many he should get at this point
