Does anyone know if the UND-Duluth weekend series will be featured on the Webcast via UND Insider? it is listed currently as "radio only" but i wasn't sure if things would change now that MidCo has just picked up the telecast of that one.

any word if UND Insider will stream these Duluth games as well?

I pretty much rant about this every February, but it is a disgrace to the game of College Hockey that the Beanpot games are not on National TV. The Boston metropolis is arguably the greatest hotbed of college hockey and this is an unmatched winter tradition at the Gahden. It's even more embarassing the lack of games on TV for BC in general, considering their success these past 14 years.

This morning UND is #15 in Pairwise which puts them in the NCAA Tourney as of today. Interesting first round matchup looming with the Gophers in St. Paul? With seperate conferences now that could certainly happen.

Whether we watch in person or on TV, Rocco is easily the most popular player for this hockey-loving family. I have a lot of memories of hiim charging down the ice and everything froze to see what would happen - few players generate that excitement. While we all kept expecting him to take off and reach another level, I'm hopeful that some of the incoming Freshman talent may be able to match his ability. Caggiula too, could provide a spark on his line - look back at the CC series in late November/early December - if we can get that Drake, we'll be in good shape. 2014 will be a challenge for Rocco as a lot of scoring expectations will be on his shoulders. Here's also hoping for more from Michael Parks - with a complete season void of injuries.

Let's not forget the tougher league schedule next year. No Alaska-Anchorages, Muchugan Techs, or Bemidjis to count on for three or four point weekends. Home ice for NCHC first round will be a tough haul. Here's hoping 2014 gels better than 2013. The D Corp is a concern, especially if Forbort moves on. We could be looking at a 2005 type season, hanging around .500 and then hopefully making an unexpected run. Bring on the new era of NCHC.

Even though I tagged Miami to win it all, I will be rooting for St Clown today with all my might. It will be good for our future games to have Jan Brady with a target on her back. I think today's Red Hawks - Huskies winner has a great chance to win this tournament now. looking back on it, it just wasn't UND's year but I was there when St. Cloud dominated them at the Ralph on January 25th. Jan Brady just doesn't do that, and few teams have.

Hey, does anyone know the answer to this, regarding NCAA's next weekend. Are the dates set currently or are those only set on Sunday once the brackets are known? For example: If UND makes the Midwest Regional, do we know if that regional is set to play Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday? What happens if they go out East? Or go to West Regional with Minnesota? Anyone know? Or do we simply wait until brunch time on Sunday?

I could tolerate a Gwoz-free Final Five.

Yes, this was my math. I'm assuming the Cup will be in Madison as that's the logical place to award it (St. Cloud) this weekend. If there are ties, maybe it would make a road trip to be unveiled after the 1st round playoffs wrap up (Like UND did in 2009 and 2011). Can't recall when UND celebrated with the Cup in 2004.

I will be there LOUD and PROUD with my daughter in the midst of Section 200 on Friday. Should be a fun night at Cell Phone Palace. UND and Minnesota both sweep and end up in a Tie for the MacNaughton Cup after St. Clown salvages only a tie in a single game in Madison. I'd love to see the MacNaughton Cup on display next weekend at The Ralph.

The other night during the Penn St - Wisconsin game , Dan Kelley mentioned something about Arizona St.

Top three finish is very likeable even with 8 or 9 points over the next six games. That does makes sense. Still, pretty silly that my Fox College Sports lineup on Saturday shows a replay of the Minnesota-St. Cloud State game from Friday night from 4:00-6:30pm (the exact window of the UND/UNO outdoor game). A rube like me just doesn't get it. Is there an emoticon for banging one's head against a brick wall?

This is exactly my plan - it works great too (did this for the Notre Dame series). I went out to Midco Sports Net's website and they feature Saturday's UND/UNO game on their Live Streaming Video link. However, there is no "view now" hyperlink like other upcoming sports games. I'm sure there's different rights and regulations that they need to follow but WHY would they allow video streaming for the Oakland University at South Dakota State Women's BB game but not streaming video for the showcase game in all of College Hockey on Saturday afternoon?

I know "both games are on TV" but I'm wondering if anyone has additonal tips or information. Here in Fargo (CableOne) it doesn't look like Saturday's game is on the schedule via Fox College Sports -- like most Midco games are. Has anyone had luck watching the video "streaming" on Midco's Website? It shows Saturday's game is on their streaming video lineup but there isn't a link (perhaps it's early). I can pay the $8.00 to watch via the UNO Mavs link as a last resort. Just curious if anyone had heard of other options.

I don't like saying "must win" in January but UND needs to come away with some points tonight if they plan on hoisting the MacNaughton Cup this year. With road trips left at Denver and at Omaha, the message has to be sent that big games (and series) can be won on the road. I expect a smarter and more physical effort from the D tonight.

I already picked some up via this tool in late October and I am in the lower bowl. Not sure what may still be out there.
