I think a 6 win SHSU made it a couple of years ago. When the Southland lost a bunch of teams and they had a couple of transitional schools.

Look at SHSU!! - they beat one team with a winning record, but they have a quality loss and DII win.

Add SHSU to that list.... that is why this sucks none of them had a better resume than UND - unbelievable... People saying WIU beat 3 playoff teams - ahhhh one of them is EIU who is not a playoff team. They got UNI after a schedule run of Iowa St./EWU/Poly/Ill St and NDSU. I think they caught UNI at the right time. SDSU was caught in traffic and late to the game - the game had to be delay.. hmmmm that didn't disrupt a travelling team at all... PLUS they only won 6 games. Are you kidding me!?! What do they get as a reward... the worst team in the playoffs.... they are basically getting a bye!!!!! they play Dayton who lost of Drake this week. They are the 9th seed. Are you &%ing kidding me!! If UND got Dayton can image the howling that would be going right now. But, because it is the MVFC - that the way it should be ..... seriously..

Hell No this team was peaking at the right time... I would have no problem playing any of the valley teams right now... that is why I am pissed. They are playing some really good football. They absolutely handled Poly it was 35-0 on the road. Plus UND's game translates to bad weather this time of year and it makes me more upset. Right now there is so much parity - give us the top seed I have problem with it because McNeese St played in a crappy conference this year. NDSU is down a QB.... any number of team can make a run right now.. UND was one of those teams IMO.

You need to look at SHSU also..... 7 D1 - wins - with no quality wins - the southland is a mess and does not deserve to have two teams..

Don't forget about SHSU - the Southland absolutely sucks..... half the schools are in the middle of a transition to D-1. Unbelievable.

If you watched that game.... SDSU got about 3 major calls on turnovers go there way. Even SDSU fans were calling out the calls. It was bad - they got alot of breaks to win that game.

So, you are into moral victories... I look at wins - PSU has the most impressive win in FCS. They beat a FBS 8-3 Washington State. whoooo - I missed your comment about SDSU vs UND and SDSU would win. The way UND is playing right now - UND vs SDSU is no gimme for SDSU.

Dude - in the history of FCS - I think maybe 2 or 3 teams with 6-5 record have made it into the playoffs... Look at: WIU - Beat SDSU yesterday in OT, UNI, and EIU EIU - Beat two teams with a winning record. Both non playoff teams - Ten Martin and EKU What does the comparison of Bama and Baylor have to do with anything at the FCS level - wow

Unfortunately for NAU - they only have 6 D-1 wins. They have one win against a D-II team. In the eyes of the committee the wins does count but not as much. So, UND would be considered before NAU.
