  1. It was close but IMO not out of bounds and ref was looking right at it.
  2. anyone know if the game is on TV in the MSP market? I have comcast.
  3. http://www.midcosportsnet.com/aboutus/contactus/ Not much of contact. Midco must not like getting too much feedback.
  4. I sent an email to Mid-Co sports network about the switch that took place on Big Sky TV. Sounds like a great end to the game wish I could have seen it.
  5. Best of luck to the Seniors today
  6. I think that will change with the addition of Idaho to the conference. You have a critical mass of four/six of the Big Sky schools in the upper northwest. A location like Boise (central location for EWU, UI, ISU, UM, MSU and WSU), Salt Lake, Portland, Seattle or Spokane (really close for EWU, UI, UM) would be close for several schools. I think Vagas has 4 conference tournaments already. Not sure if another one would work.
  7. Fullerton said that the Big Sky my being looking at other options for hosting the conference tournament in the near future. But, this year it will be at the Dee Events Center 12,000 plus for seating and it is a great facility. Of the top four teams, UND, Montana and Weber St. all have more than adequate facilities to host the tournament. Seriously you are comparing MVC (St. Louis) and BIG (Chicago) to the Summit (Sioux Falls).. O' boy.. I think that you forgot about the Eastern Division of the Summit - WIU, Indy and Ft Wayne or have they left already. As for the RPI ranking, Fullerton is a member of the NCAA tournament selection committee. Last year he has said that he is taking the lessons learned from this experience to the schools to help build the conference's RPI. The RPI has been manipulated by conferences for years to give a conference a false front of success. The real test for a conference is when they 1) win a tournament game and 2) get mult bids. NOTE: The Big Sky just started receiving the minimum payout for the first time since 1998. So, they have not had recent success that they had in the 70's and early 80's. But, it is not like the Big Sky has not been a successful basketball conference (Idaho, Weber St, Idaho St. and Montana have all had Sweet 16 teams). Of course all of this could have changed if Lillard had not been injured and left early for Weber St. They would have been a very dangerous mid major team last year with Lillard (FYI to Bison fans he was NBA rookie of the year last year). Fullerton has stated that he is placing more of an emphasis on Basketball. So, we shall see how successful he is in the near future. In addition, I believe that PSU and Sac St both have new facilities in the planning stages. So that would leave UNC as the last team with subpar basketball facilities in the Big Sky.
  8. bit of a walk but I like Key's in the W hotel or Hell's Kitchen.
  9. They are in progress with new IPF.. very similar to UND's and they are close to approval on starting a new outdoor stadium. I think they will be playing in the new stadium by 2016. IMO they will have the best overall (IPF/Stadium) football facilities in the Dakota's by 2016. On the other hand what they have done to Frost is criminal.. just wow. Used to be a great facility and they have gone backwards IMO.
  10. Huge step back for all sports in what context?
  11. Jacks got a good coach and a hell of a recruiter. IMHO - He will hurt UND on the recruiting trail.
  12. They had some major defensive lapses in the first half.. I really hope they pull this game out. They need it bad.
  13. Wow, things are looking a little rough for UND.

    2014 Recruiting

These young men have had enough..- administrators you can be proud. opps wrong school
  15. Which team shows up?? who knows
  16. Indy and Fort Worth love the current travel arrangements.
  17. I concede the point - Denver's sports offering don't match any conferences. My point was that the Summit League let Denver pass on the requirement to add sports. Other conferences were requiring that Denver add sports to become a member. UND had to add tennis to join the Big Sky. I believe that all Big Sky school all offer the same conference lineup for sports (NOTE: Softball just started in the conference, so not all schools support softball at this time).
  18. All: I have four tickets for Saturday against UNO Section 303 Row M all all together. 45 or best offer.. thanks, Mike
  19. to the guards if you are going slap at the ball... get your fouls worth and don't let them get the lay up
  20. wow on that foul call... Huff with 6 missed FT tonight. 7 now 8 .... WTF
  21. no sure I want to see a zone... again UND has no interior D.
  22. They had a 4/5 min lull where they were trying to force passes... man Weber St hit every open 3. Overall happy with the play from UND. They looked ready to play.. they want this win.
