If you have not been to campus in the last 2 or 3 years - you are missing out. The campus has changed dramatically for the better and it looks like more changes in the next couple of years. Easily the best campus in the Dakotas.

Is it "TSL, NCHC, MVFC" or is it "NCHC and Big Sky" or is it "NCHC and Great West" or is it "WCHA and Great West" or is it "WCHA and NCC". Oh dang it - you said "3"!. So, it has to be "TSL, NCHC, and MVFC". Did I get it right?

Interesting read today: Between the Lines: Midseason Report : College Hockey News If this happens, it may finally be the push for Miami and Western Michigan to go to the more geographically-centered CCHA. Miami has been the school more willing to do this over the years, but WMU has been reluctant. However, WMU will have a new athletic director soon, and has a new head coach, so this could change. This article has hints of smoke around the Summit League. Again, interesting stuff will it come true who knows.

Interesting, I could have sworn that Miami was rumored as looking to potentially leave but W. Michigan was saying no. I remember reading that the NCHC looked at WM, SCSU and BG after Notre Dame pulled out when the conference was first started. That lead to WM, and SCSU joining the conference. But, I have not read much since then about BG. I guess it just wasn't on my radar.

I don't think it would hurt, and I think that the corporate sales would go up given the strong business ties in the Twin City by UST alumni.

It is my understanding that the new CCHA has changed things for Miami. I believe that they would like to rejoin with Bowling Green in CCHA. I think once UST gets the arena thing figured out they would be a perfect fit for NCHC. I think that UST has a very motivated alumni base and would show up at the Frozen Face in MSP at the Xcel. And they get the NCHC school back into the Twin Cities. So, they add a lot and I don't think it will take long before they are a program to contend with... I believe it took ASU 4 years to make the NCAA's ... I can see UST being on that type of track. It might take a bit longer because CCHA might have a better level of competition. No looking to force anyone out. But, there are changes coming soon due to NCAA changes and programs/conference may need to adjust.

Well, if it was up to me - I would have kicked SCSU to the curb yesterday. I want nothing to do with that Sh!thouse of a school. If W. Mich and Miami move to CCHA and St. Thomas and MSU want to go NCHC. I don't see a problem.

They are building brand new on campus arena - plus they have the backing of Stanford. I would say that the CCHA is close to a lock. They are already talking. I don't understand why not? It would get more fans in the stands improve gameday atmosphere, students would miss less school, big attendance boost for both mens and womens, minimize game day expenses. I don't care if the rest of DI doesn't do it.. Make the TSL unique. Make this happen.

Dear Comish: Drop mirror schedule - Bring back the double headers with Thursday/Saturday or Friday/Saturday games (with travel partners we should be able to do this). Work with NCHC to prevent overlap with DU, UNO, STU, UND on scheduling. Start a preseason tournament with conference teams - Again more money for teams This will maximize revenue for the programs which helps build the programs.

OK, this is looking like NAIA playing D-1 right now. The talent level comparison between these two is not close.

UND needs to learn how to control the micro runs. The first half is the story of two 3:00 minute runs by CBU: 1) 14:40 to 11:03 - CBU out scored UND 10-3 2) 5:16 to 2:55 - CBU out scored UND 9-0 The point guard needs to settle things down during those small runs to break momentum, even more important on the road.

CBU fans are a bit clueless... started chanting "You Can't Do That!!" when the home team was called for a foul.. it slowly faded away once they figure out the mistake.

It will be interesting to see what happens. He has some challenges moving over to the Summit League: 1) On boarding of St. Thomas 2) Following MVC/OVC changes (WIU/UM-KC) 3) Final NCAA Constitution Changes

I only watched for about 15 minutes the other night and it didn't look good.

First, to Quintin - it was fun watching you develop and preform on the field the last several years. The best of luck moving forward. I believe that Quintin did everything that we would expect as fans - he has finished his field of study and has graduated. He is going to continue his education at another school as many of us did ourselves. Great job Quintin.

My opinion has not changed - the new name and logo are awful. Just so you are aware I have opinions on many, many things - small government is better than large government. Ranked Choice Voting is a terrible idea, I don't like the color of my living room but my wife loves it - if those opinions hurt your feeling you should learn to move because my opinion will not change on those topics (I will always hate the color of my living room, logo and new name). I look forward to a year from now when the annual post in this thread comes about... so, I can say the same thing. By the way - I approve of the new jersey - well done.
