  2. I laughed out loud, well done.

  4. It's interesting, I lived in Houston for about 10 years and Seattle for several years as well and I find that regardless of race you can find people with differences and similarities. It seems to me peoples behavior is more related to how they are home situation/how they were raised and economic status.
  5. I guess my problem with pulling Studsrud redshirt it that I assumed even with Bartles being hurt that it was minor and at most he misses one game. If he is healthy enough to play I can't see Studsrud playing over him at this point.
  6. I just looked into it a little and it appears Sioux Falls has the same LSS epidemic as Fargo does. It's unfortunate that they don't have more responsiblity to the people they bring in. If they did you might see people that have managed to assimilate a little better at the very least.
  7. I moved to Sioux Falls about a year ago and I noticed a much higher population of people than I expected that are new to the United States. I didn't know why but it always seemed strange that so many people would pick Sioux Falls as a place to move. I don't know that you could find a place with more differences than the Ivory Coast and Sioux Falls.
  8. They shouldn't have pulled Studsrud's redshirt. He looks like a good athlete with potential but he was thrown to the wolves and it really wasn't necessary.
  9. A lot of the guys getting hurt haven't been in the program all that long. I wouldn't jump to strength and conditioning as the main issue at this point. I sort of throw out the QB injuries and several true freshman or transfer players have been injured or have dealt with injuries on and off this season.
  10. He very well could be because his highlights look really good. I guess I would rather see game tape other than highlights because some of the competition looks a little on the weak side. He looks like a beast but it's hard to really know based upon what I watched on Hudl.
  11. I really don't belong in this conversation but my opinion is that UND and RT screwed up pretty big by not continuing to play NDSU. I don't care if the reasons at the time seemed or were valid. IMO the game was bigger than that and they made the choice not to play. If they would have worked something out we would not be having this pissing contest right now.
  12. The situation isn't nearly that simple.
  13. Also, some guys never get a shot to show what they can do until something like this happens. I remember Deitrich Flesch getting to start and play on the offensive line years ago only because another lineman injured himself while testing. He was a very good player that year that never would have touched the field without and injury. Sometimes these players just need a chance.
  14. I haven't seen him play so I can't judge on that but if he wasn't good enough why is he on the roster? I think he should at least have an opportunity before you pull a redshirt off. You never can't tell the QB position certainly isn't all about measurable qualities.
  15. If he looks good that is great but it likely makes 1 or more of the other QB's leaving a much more likely which kills what little depth UND has at QB for next season. It would likely force them to bring in a JUCO guy just to fill a gap.
  16. If his shirt is pulled and he plays this season, I really doubt that UND tries to redshirt him again next year. It could happen but I really doubt it with the QB depth the way it is. It is very possible UND goes into next year with 2 or 3 qb's plus whoever they recruit this year. Likely, if Hanson doesn't get a shot to play with the current situation he leaves or quits. The idea is to play football and it's very difficult when you a put in a situation to play and don't get a shot. In addition either Mollberg or Bartels could be gone. Not saying this will happen but it seems a likely possibility considering how things have played out so far.
  17. I have sort or felt this way watching and hearing his interviews over the last two years. I still think he is a pretty good coach but he is in a really tough spot right now. I don't get the comments about UND, but if you look at the last couple years he says a lot of goofy nonsensical stuff all the time.

  19. I had a ruptured Achilles and was on crutches for 7 months. Mine might have been an extreme case though because the tendon frayed when it snapped and the doctor needed to cut about an inch off to sew it back together.
  20. Is Mollbergs injury a rupture or a tear? All I have seen reported is an Achilles injury and the tear is a lot better than a full rupture.
  21. That sucks, horrible injury to recover from. He will have to work hard and I doubt he will be full speed by next football season.
  22. Taj Rich has had a rough game.
  23. Some might question the fake punt call but it was open as long as we execute, which didn't happen.
