siouxperman2015, I think you are the only one crying here, per your first ever post. So why the issue with the equipment guy?

It's a helmet decal, and I am pretty sure I gave one of mine to a roommate that ran track. To act like the equipment guy wasn't part of the program and doesn't deserve to represent UND football is foolish. That is way I think this is about more then just a helmet decal.

NDSU currently has the better program but while I was at UND we were better. The statement just wasn't accurate unless you only judge by national titles which I don't feel is the only indicator.

Somebody doesn't know the history very well.

I would say that's incorrect! NCAA didn't come after UND because of Bison fans.

People will eventually get over it and move on or they will not and continue to cry about it. UND got hosed by the NCAA but what is done is done and we need to move forward. I am sure Hak will remind players of the Fighting Sioux history but outside of some fans the that name will no longer be used publically except when referencing the history of it. This will take a little time because people are slow to change but it will not stop it from happening.

I am full support for UND in all sports and I can't understand how anyone who attends or attended UND could be any other way.... frontrunners I guess. Now if you went to NDSU and are also a Sioux Hockey fan, I get that because you don't have a hockey team at NDSU.

I actually submitted Peacemakers as in the Colt Single Action Army and Honkers. I will puke if it's roughriders because that means as a collective group we have zero imagination or original thoughts. It's not that the name itself is bad but stealing from a local high school and it is in no way unique. I still like einherjar and you could do a lot with a logo for it but I didn't submit it because it has no chance. Something about us folks from the Dakota's, we aren't very good with change.

So it might have been a real safety concern for the players, if that is the case the refs had lost control I can understand what they did. Not saying this is what happened but if so the reason they stopped playing has some validity.

Between the two campuses Minot enrolls about 1900 kids from 9-12 grade right now.

If you are judging by what happened last season. Mollberg was playing a lot better before the injury and if he continues to improve could be very good. Obviously the injury is a factor for him but I saw a lot of improvement during the season. I have always liked Bartels and basically feel he has been smarter with the football than Mollberg overall and think given the chance will be very effective. I actually like the improvement I saw in Studsrud over the last several games as well. He was put in an extremely difficult situation by having his redshirt pulled late and with little to no WR talent around him. The offensive line was run blocking better at the end of the year the pass pro was still pretty bad. Any of the three could be really good players as the team develops but I don't think any are superstars. I hope they prove me wrong.

Some really great athleticism on the OL recruits this year. If those boys work out the future is bright on the offensive side of the ball.

Watching the highlights it is hard to see Jade Lawrence as anything but a RB. His balance is really good! Granted I am just watching highlights and not game tape.
