  1. The University of North Dakota Power Hour! I have lived in a few different parts of the country and as far as I can tell this is a regional thing.
  2. I was thinking of the shot
  3. Prairie Fire
  4. Dang, I thought I had a winner!
  5. Snow Angels?
  6. In Norse mythology, the einherjar (Old Norse "single (or once) fighters"[1]) are those that have died in battle and are brought to Valhalla by valkyries. In Valhalla, the einherjar eat their fill of the nightly-resurrecting beast Sæhrímnir, and are brought their fill of mead (from the udder of the goat Heiðrún) by valkyries. The einherjar prepare daily for the events of Ragnarök
  7. If you want to go with this line of thinking I still say we use something like Einherjar. It pertains to warriors in Norse Mythology.
  8. I agree with the strategy but the exacution was bad. I thought they needed to take the clock down to 3 or 4 seconds but I understand the difficulty considering it was a true freshman QB and he had to spike it instead of just calling a timeout. I didn't want NAU to have a chance at a kick return either, so I almost thought they should bounce the kick to an front line guy to prevent the return. That could have backfired as well though by not running enough time off.
  9. Really funny, this was the only game I have been able to attend in person this year and it never fails to amaze me how stupid fans are at any level of football. The guy behind me started upset but quickly figured it out but his wife kept yelling to snap the ball and say what is he doing. Finally the guy just tells her to shut up you don't know what you are talking about. Good game and people need to stop complaining about play calling because all passing on early downs did was get UND in trouble. They struggled to pass block and the WR really were not getting open. Even the deep shot to Siebel, though a good attempt he had very little separation and that is after running the ball successfully most of the game.
  10. If UND eliminates the stupid mistakes and turnovers I think it will be a close low scoring game. The UND defense has been pretty good this year when the opponent isn't getting turnovers and a short field. NAU - 24 UND - 17
  11. So right now on stub hub the cheapest tickets in the lower bowl are $108 per ticket for Saturday night. I know they are in demand tickets but it seems excessive.
  12. What do lower bowl hockey tickets normally cost? I am going to be in Grand Forks this weekend to watch football and thought about trying to get hockey tickets for Saturday night, but the prices on stubhub seem really high to me. I haven't been to a game since I was in college because I have lived across the country. Now that I am closer I would like attend some games if possible and reasonable.
  13. The comments on that article are crazy and most have nothing to do with the article. Penn State people seem a little nuts.
  14. You are assuming college students have a clue, which is a huge stretch.
  15. I think that is the case everywhere, or a least people feel that way when they don't agree with the legislature.
  16. Did Coach Rudolph piss in your cornflakes?
  17. I think Baylee Carr has had a pretty good season considering the situation. His tackling for the most part and been good and certainly improved over last year. Let's hope the defense has a great day tomorrow and we get back in the win column.
  18. Here come you University of North Dakota Piles of Snirt!
  19. Along the same lines we could be the blur or instead of stripes Black Box
  20. People quit for a lot of different reasons. Most are likely valid reasons but you do have situations like at least a player or two from last season that probably should have been removed from the team before they left anyway. The guy I am thinking of doesn't seem to be doing all that well this season either. The grass is always greener!
  21. If I agree with something based upon the information I have it doesn't make me think one side is good and the other bad.
  22. You are always going to have players quiting or transfering for different reasons. It just normally happens in the offseason. I think this is going to get worse over this offseason but we will have to let it play out. If a player doesn't feel he is getting a fair shot to play, he will likely transfer or quit. Even if it isn't actually occuring the perception to the player is really all that matters.
  23. I certainly makes a lot more sense if it's related to an injury of injuries.
