I doubt it, in spite of him being an athletic freak he hasn't played against very good competition yet and learning the offense and line calls will not happen over night.

First, I don't think anything in recruiting can be a can't miss but I am surprised he hasn't got some offered from FCS or D2 schools. I didn't watch his video but I would think he has to be good enough for someone to take a shot on him.

That sucks, but they do need a lot of help on the defensive side of the ball.

I am not positive on all the reasons but I know UT has blocked them getting in previously. I think some at UT might think it will make pulling the best recruits out of Houston more difficult. UH is a commuter school so it really doesn't have a very good "college" atmosphere and I doubt Houston in the Big 12 would hurt schools like UT when it comes to recruiting but you never know.

I would be shocked if they are looking at Houston. It has been a sore spot for years with UH people and I think UT doesn't want them in.

He had about 1100 yards and 17 TD's this year.

Kolt ended up passing for over 3000 yards and 33 TD's this season and was named Texas 23 -6A MVP. He also recently picked up a second scholarship offer, this one from Central Arkansas. I wonder if UND would consider looking at him? Both of these two are great young men so you wouldn't have any problems on that account.

I kinda think Montana has a shot to take out EWU and I think the Jacks are going to give NDSU all they can handle. I say this even though I found the SDSU performance a little disappointing last week but the weather was pretty rough for that game.

Ohio State has had a lot of injuries this season, I bet they need to update the strength and conditioning program as well!

Pretty ugly situation we are in when a large number of parents do little to no parenting. I think I hear daily from kids "that teacher doesn't like me, they are racist". When you have been trained by parents and society to respond in that manor you leave little room for personal responsibility.

You may be right that some are being a little over positive in relation to the OL play but they did improve greatly with run blocking and that is really all you can ask for during the season. If this type of improvement continues I think we will be very happy with the run game in the coming years.

I get what you are saying and agree a large part of the time but you certainly can't blame all of the mistakes on the other players. If a QB fumbles or throws a pick it is his fault almost all of the time. Some exceptions happen but not all that often.

I just want a quarterback to make the plays that are available, not turn the ball over and or have a bunch of negative plays. If we had a QB doing just this all season (which is difficult) I don't think we get blown out in any games and likely win a couple more.

A lot of times in recent years it looks like we have brought in guys that can mash on the oline. The difference with this young man is how athletic he looks in comparision to a lot of recruits we have seen in the past.

Maybe we shouldn't bother with any name and mascot and just sell jersey space to sponsers. That can fund the athletics programs and we will look like Nascar.
