Sorry but this version of the software is horrendous, from virtually not being able to delete previous quotes to not being able to edit saves....not to mention copy pasted links only show up as http something unclickable. On mobile android phone and fire tablet.

It's always where can money be made (if you have to pay NDSU to talk on the radio in the Fargodome parking lot, or interview a coach for a blog...what's next?) ....it certainly has to be academic contracts where any press conference (new UND donation/building) can only be broadcast live from people who paid (because after all that news outlet "made money on your brand").

The latest I heard was the legislator would try and use Bank of ND profits to help cover the shortfall. I can't remember the figure but I want to say $100 mill.

That's one of the questions....NDSU hasn't released the contracts they awarded months ago or I think are claiming they aren't finished yet. These restrictions seem to be in retrospect, which is odd. They more than likely would have higher bids if they knew they'd be shut out had they not won.

If NDSU could have banned Forum Communications (or any entity that hasn't given them money) from saying "NDSU or Bison" I'm sure they would have loved too.

This sites credentials would be banned or not issued as it often gives updates and "play by play" accounts by the users and is considered "social media" as outlined by the NDSU news release.

Football and basketball coaches interviews "must not include calls from viewers or listeners" and are limited to ten minutes or less...and can not be scheduled regularity. Pretty strict access to state employees....wonder if they paid them by the minute interview it could go longer than ten minutes?

The evidence shows Minnesota's program getting worse the last two years, including 0 NCAA wins compared to North Dakota's 6.

Not sure who said "one game scenarios are what differentiates the programs." Maybe those "one games" over a decade or a season. Sure Minnesota would be better than ND if they won more games. If they made the Frozen Four more often and if they won more championships. Or we can just look at the actual results.

If UND lost a game would that have made Minnesota better? I'd have to say no. It just separates them further.

The press release also stated one on one interviews with the Governor will only be granted to the one media member...all other will continue to be denied...want to interview the governor you will need to be the highest bidder for the contract in three years when it's available.
