    Things we all just learned today.....Brocks name literally means Badger....as in his mom named him after the U of Wisconsin. ....what to say about that...... ....getting Brock & Jost...the continued dominance of college hockey over Major Juniors....I believe we will soon see three top ten draft picks going to UND in a given year. Jost scoring a bunch of goals at the Ralph as a Captain before entering UND.. .

    Watch Brocks amazing baseball skills and Troy Stecher giving him props.... ....And "those shades" helped bring a natty.

    Fetch is talking about how the bottom left of the D stops short in some versions like the one above. If one only saw this version without seeing the original, it would defiantly not look like a "D". And make people wonder what the "gap" is about.

    New crazy thought: Cut programs and or athletic positions that were only started after the North Dakota oil boom or circa 2004. .....Dear *Tom Miller, try a real article sometime. I know you read this. You told me personally. Ask why a sport that has been around at UND before we were born, needs to get cut...despite record athletic budgets??? *Dont try and be the next Rob Port. That's a low hanging fruit.

    It was also an odd email. Left more questions than answers. Seemed like internal stuff that didn't need to be send to the whole community. "Athletics will have a small budget deficit. We'll look into the issue." Seems strange.

    President Kennedy is warming up the audience for something...only time will tell what it is. .....in other news the committee that will be formed has a price tag of $1.4 Million.

    Sounds like Ed Schafer should have cut more sports. Faison isn't going to cut sports without being told to do so. Faisons job is to keep and grow sports, but again this athletic shortfall isn't anything new..it's just there's less institutional funds due to state budget cuts and the increased expenses of full cost of attendance.

    $1.4 million athletic shortfall...... Thats what been going on at UND for years (and the majority of college athletics)?

    I overheard the GOBC meeting. There will be an announcement by UND later this week regarding Athletic financing.

    The original logo had a black shadow under the chin hiding some of the D. The logo above idk what to say about it....now there's just some odd gap between the D and the Hawk.

    I went to Scheels here in Bismarck today. I did almost buy a shirt that had a football helmet with the new logo on it, but went with a abstract vertical football with the old interlocking logo. It was a tough decision though. Nothing else really looked good IMO, though the Fighting Hawks hats were pretty good.

    I would also like to send a letter of thanks to the University of Minnesota for not recruiting the best hockey players in the world and only focusing on players they knew they had a chance at landing.

    They can afford it I guess, and/or happy at other positions vs the available talent....unfortunately for Wentz the odds are stacked against him, but fortunately for him he already made big money.

    Minnesota will be a perennial bubble team.

    Guy only played (started?) two years of College...in the second division....his best hope is to ride the pine for awhile (aaron rodgers).

    I have trouble getting up to speed there. It's such a short distance and the bumps fly me out of my seat.
