    You don't always have to take the best you can hope for in one division is higher than the best you can hope for in another division as an insult...unless you think the truth is insulting.

    Whoever drank that last glass musta also took the memo stating we rolled this logo out early so he didn't have to deal with it.......and then his second day in office rolled around.

    WDAY channel six at ten starts the news cast stating: "New UND President doesn't slam the door on changing the UND logo."

    Or beating the Gophers in a bowl... Could you imagine all the bison fans instantly wanting to follow UND. ...or the best you can hope for is beating Jacksonville state in front of 20,000 in a place called Frisco.

    Radio. No link.... Running on the "News Headlines" which is every half hour (?) or so on 1310. Might be an article tomorrow? IDK.

    Some logos, not all. Some people don't know that. He could have said that in his answer, but the radio never reported any of that. Leaves the door (hope) open for some people. Headline on the Radio was something like (again off memory) "Don't like the new UND logo? You might not have to wait that long for a new one." While not putting gas on the fire, some could see it as stirring the coals a little bit.....His words are going to be interpreted differently by the masses.

    So the new UND president comes out and says (paraphrasing) "we'll see how this logo goes for now and in a few years we might (or be open too) tweak it."

    Saw on the news yesterday, a gf print shop is producing one of the logos that's been posted here. My phone, this forum, and pasting links don't go together.

    A logo without a border that you can't see with certain colors that immediately after being released needs to be modified.

    Hey look I can see the blue M on a blue background.... Sme: "oh you want a logo that'll show up on a green background?! You should have asked for the deluxe package...we'll get back to you with that price."

    I sure hope the future president could have handled some criticism of a logo he had nothing to do with...otherwise he's probably not the right man for the job. We don't know what tweaks are coming or what they will look like. It's anyone's guess. Just the administration has claimed tweaks are coming. We just "know" at a minimum there will be at least a border or different color combos...things they didn't want to release at the ceremony because they wanted to rush it so we didn't hurt the new guys feelings.... ..or eds ego took over and wasn't going to pass up that opportunity in the spotlight....I'll go with B.

    Seems like a poor reason to release a logo that they admit still needs tweaking.

    Which means we have to join all the other hawk universities but not a logo that "looks similar" to another one.

    Why didn't they make these modifications before releasing the logo? . .not talking about the ss mockups but the tweaks that people claim are coming

    Very much so. I can't imagine hockey without the names on the back and with football having a lot more players..

    How much would u charge $20,000? ....not a fan of the throat turquoise though.

    Different color and fonts and we'll be good. Easy fix.

    Brescani is the only one whos contract has to wait. They will see if he improves his skills and they'll decide in November. 7-1 was the vote. ......and not surprising this is UNDs (not Notre Dame) fault
