Linebacker mentality; cornerback body; sounds to me like ... slot receiver over the middle. See: Welker, Edelman, E Sanders, Cobb, Amendola.

If you want Ed for more than interim, you need to show the academy at UND that he's worth it. He'll prove it in person when he's there, but as much as academics say "it's not about money" ... dare I say BS. It's all about money to them. If the ND SBoHE wasn't paying Schafer at par with what Kelley was making* the academics wouldn't respect him. *PS - Paying Ed what Kelley was making has ... get ready for this ... zero net impact on UND's planned budget for the year. Was Ed supposed to do this gratis?

And Night Ranger? Meh ... I need a touch, I need a touch of madness ...

Toto? Most think "Rosanna" or "Africa". I prefer "Pamela". Sorry, couldn't find the whole video on YouTube: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x22vwi_toto-pamela_music They knew how to make a music video in the 1980s. ... " ... black and white always go together ... " Indeed.

There was more to Dale leaving for SIU than ... or OK ... go on ...

Are you saying it looks like someone 'passed' some Fruit Loops?

Yes, lots of nitpicking; won't disagree. But I also remember when the Brien logo came out it too was deemed "too busy" by the manufacturers that had to produce it. They cleaned it up for vector graphics and did some other modifications. Don't believe me? The Brien signature* is only in the feathers when the logo is 12 inches or larger (like back of jackets, jersey fronts, or the granite floors). So I'm nitpicking, but I'm also giving a preview of the critique the pros will give. *Yes, Ben's signature is in the feathers in the floor in REA. If you don't know that you are forever precluded from using the old nickname.

I'll agree with jdub: It's still a little busy. OK, a lot busy.

So Bresciani has a goal to make NDSU AAU ....
The Sicatoka replied to SiouxVolley's topic in Community
We heard NDSU's side: "Meh, not a big deal." Dorgan's now asking for the other side. -
Former Senator Dorgan is neither impressed nor pleased how NDSU has handled CNSE. http://www.inforum.com/letters/3893311-letter-major-research-opportunity-lost-ndsu-north-dakota Ouch.

Neither am I. I suspect Trevor Olson might "take issue" with situations like that. After that? Maybe Pogo or Chyzyk. The problem is this: In today's NCAA guys are not afraid of direct, on-ice ramifications and there is no indirect, off-ice ramification either (one game is nothing).

I'd think Hastings has a better shot than Motzko.

10 "Memorable" Losses of the Jones Era
The Sicatoka replied to bincitysioux's topic in Men's Basketball
You could create a list of (dis)honorable mentions for the Omaha and other losses. -
If SIU still owes him money, I love the idea in your first sentence. Dale doesn't have the university "union card" (PhD). Without that, even if you're extremely qualified < cough - Ed Schafer - cough-cough > you are not qualified.
-
Is the role of the AD to (a) raise funds, or (b) run the Athletics Department? That's not a "jerk" question. It's sincere. What is the AD's role?
-
One game? That was targeting the head. Real tough stance from the league and NCAA, especially when the word of the day is "concussions". (Somewhere an attorney smiles ... )
-
Some ugly questions not intended to slight anyone, but they should be asked: - Is Dale qualified to be or interested in being an AD? - Is there a role with the Alumni Association that he could fill? - Would Montana State take a look at a guy that (sorry to say it) hasn't gotten it done in the last five years at SIU? My opinion is that I'd be worried about USD looking at him, but USD has their former QB as the heir apparent.
-
Kind of scary that Dale is out of work and South Dakota and Montana State have open slots.
