I wouldn't expect leeway (the number is the number and you have to hit the number), but I suspect the groundwork is/has been done at UND by Schafer's moves and when (not if according that Board member) the next State mandate budget cuts happen UND will be prepared to just manage the plan already put in place. I do like how Schafer did have goodwill built up by having a plan for Sign Language with LRCC. It's like Ed knows what State officials are going to say/think/ask before they do it.

To be FBS you must average 90% of the FBS limit of 85. That means Idaho must average 76.5 or not count as an FBS team to opponents. That's 13.5 more than the FCS (63) max.

Say Idaho decided to play in the BSC but not go down to 63 (stay at 85). We see they'll be ineligible for the FCS playoffs; however, would it be worth it (guarantees) if they still counted as an FBS (85 scholarship) school on P5/G5 schedules? Disclaimer: I'm not sure what the NCAA would/could do if Idaho didn't drop down to 63 other than post season ineligibility. Anyone know? Could the NCAA declare them "FCS" even with 85 scholarships? .... This might require popcorn.

And this surely wouldn't cause papers to be carted off by the habitually offended ... And did a columnist just accuse a sworn law enforcement organization of taking bribes? He'd better have more than rumor or I just heard a rumor that he may learn the definition of slander.

Where are these ratings coming from? I ask because Davis and Poly seem flip-flopped with NAU and UNC.
