  1. Brad Elliott Schlossman >> Bruce Ciskie Next question.
  2. http://www.startribune.com/gophers-ad-search-narrowed-to-final-four-sources-say/378844131/ Could the "undisclosed" be ... (the recently reneged on MSU) Brennan? The STrib says it's not Gene Taylor (contrary to what The Forum thinks: http://www.inforum.com/sports/4029266-reports-gene-taylor-finalist-gophers-ad-job )
  3. In that situation you don't need this "Marsy's Law", you need ...
  4. Uh ... OK ... and you know this ... how?
  5. Anything to brighten an otherwise dreary day.
  6. If that's true, I'm with UND-1: Just say it and all will understand. Family > _____
  7. Oh yeah, this move will haunt him to the end.
  8. Forgive me, but tell me how SV's theories are any crazier than if someone, twenty years ago, would have said the WAC would be made up of Chicago State, Grand Canyon, and UT Rio Grand Valley today.
  9. Makes you wonder if he was leveraging Utah (or someone else) and had to play the hand this far. I'd hate to think the man didn't do his own due diligence before accepting. That would be unprofessional.
  10. OK, ... 46-70-116. Completed the season "grand slam": conference regular season title, conference tourney title, Hobey, NCAA title. 1987 is less than 30 years ago.
  11. You forgot "a winning Powerball ticket" in your lists of wants. PS - Just for you ... "Lily".
  12. If you had hockey year-round, wouldn't it always be hockey season?
  13. I'd say send the Twins in toto to the minors, but Simmy and the FM RedHawks already have a roster.
  14. But hey, the Wild will have an outstanding 0-n record in Game 7s.
  15. The Stanley Cup is a nice visitor, but I'll take the permanent resident the team brought from Tampa.
  16. ... and gained some grey hair.
  17. Yeah, but that "II" team would grind everyone down.
  18. I think Ed is there to leave a clean, fresh slate full of opportunity for his successor.
  19. Is that any greater of a threat than the other real and serious issues faced by Idaho and NMSU football?
  20. OK, then I think we're mostly agreeing. The P5 will do what they do how they do it (namely, on their terms). Once that happens comes the open conversation at the schools that would consider moving.
  21. I won't go that far. They'll talk, quietly, and then roll out what they (P5) want. Seen it before. "It's good to be the king!"
  22. Boeser putting in his first pitch for Hobey (character counts) or the Humanitarian?
  23. They'd have an easier time fundraising and building a new BB only facility and then retrofitting WFA for the IceDevils. They'd get the bonus of being able to keep ice in there all the time and renting it out (because Phoenix has an ice time shortage).
  24. So the 2017 Frozen Four is in Chicago at United Center. Let me think ... who (NHL) plays there? The Chicago Blackhawks. I've been to the UC and, gee, the Blackhawk's logo is plastered all over the place, and, yet, the NCAA will play their premiere hockey finale in that arena with that logo plastered all over everywhere (ala the REA). I thought that genre of logo was "hostile and abusive" (Native related) and the NCAA would not use such a venue for one of their events.
  25. I said this a while back about the UND nickname: You'll know the instant the nickname is a net negative to UND because that's the instant it goes away. With that thought in mind: You'll know the instant that more G5 conferences are a benefit to the P5, because that's when it'll happen. At that instant the road blocks will all disappear.
