  1. Look at those pictures. I gotta start a company named "Tenant". Think of all the free advertising!
  2. It's that normally Tuesdays? (Darn brain.)
  3. BREAKING NEWS: You get everyone to read your post if you lead with "breaking news".
  4. Oldest joke in the book ... Q: How do you keep a bunch of hockey bobos in suspense? A: They'll tell us next week.
  5. Every spot on my body where I've ever taken a puck just started to ache sympathetically. "Uh coach, you can let someone else play the screen and bumper when Klev's at the umbrella point ... I'll set up for the one-timer over at one of the dots."
  6. BREAKING NEWS: There is no new breaking news.
  7. You mean it's not going to be one of those retail under three floors of apartment thingies?
  8. NW11 (Clair), the guy who recovered, is a smallish guy to be out there on standard KO return team. Did NW'n see a "tell" and was ready? https://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=34471333
  9. The onside kick was on a portion of the risk-reward curve that didn't seem necessary to visit at the time. They had an eleven point lead and momentum. What caused Frost to go to that part of the curve only he knows. Frost made the call; Frost owns the call. And I still wish Nebraska had won.
  10. Whose bootie you lookin' at?
  11. It’s a day later and I still don’t understand the onside kick by Nebraska — 11 point lead and momentum and they opened the door.
  12. Yes, I was hoping for a fat and happy Nebraska next week. Nope. Not getting that. Alternative view: Might that loss get into their heads —> This “stuff” again? The announcers loved the 10-0 under Frost when scoring 35 or more. Now they’re like 5-30 when not scoring 35. Find a way to keep them off the board for a while (even a quarter) and doubt might start to creep into their minds. That requires a long sustained opening drive by UND.
  13. “Stay in your lane.” — I’ll let the multimillionaire who didn’t explain why you’re wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64X9f73JYgk Apparently I got out of radio before you got in, but I stay in touch with various local media owners to this day. I’ve been asked on Fargo shows to represent groups and industries I’ve worked in. I’m still not sure how pointing out the obvious to anyone with ears (Ralston has higher pitch than Hennessy or Michaels) is worth such ire.
  14. All through the fourth Nebraska’s posture gave the impression they were afraid they were going to lose. Northwestern running the ball got in their heads.
  15. I wasn’t disparaging Paul at all. He has a different sound and that’s fine. Michaels and Hennessy are deeper and have a different sound is all. And I’ve been here asking for someone other than Michaels because he doesn’t draw the game picture I’m looking for. Like it or not, the hockey job is Hennessy’s until he walks away (and as you I hope he does before he becomes Sid 2.0). PS - How long did you work for Ingstad Broadcasting? PPS - Bass (pronounced: base) is a male voice.
  16. Your numbers are backwards to my hopes.
  17. Is the team doing some "scouting watching" of Nebraska tomorrow? 11:30 AM Central on Fox Here's hoping Nebraska a comfortable win and high spirits that make them look past next week.
  18. You'd better not be psychiatrist for @gfhockey or you just committed an ethical violation by transcribing session notes here.
  19. "Today's Memorial Village groundbreaking marks the exciting start of an absolute transformation for UND Athletics facilities – the first step in a series of monumental changes to come," said UND President Andrew Armacost.
  20. I get it: You see it as having potential for use like 'skating' Goldie at the Evil 'M'-pire.
  21. With or without the magenta rectangle?
  22. We've talked about a "weak" arm before. Watch this: https://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/31816-und-travels-to-southern-illinois-oct-16-2pm/page/30/#comment-1203252 The analysis of the throw is here: https://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/31816-und-travels-to-southern-illinois-oct-16-2pm/page/30/#comment-1203254 " ... a 135 foot throw (45 yards), no wind-up, under pressure, into a bucket." <-- And on time. Schuster's throwing motion is very smooth and relaxed. He doesn't look like he's rifling a ball, but it gets to where it needs to be on schedule. My only critique would be he doesn't seem to like throwing deep down the middle. I suspect it's the "game manager" mindset (no picks).
  23. Slacks, jeans, or sweats? Different styles, different rules.
  24. Listen for 20 seconds but change "Bears" to "Twins". (That link is for you @Oxbow6.)
