My Hoosman take is as much about having enough ready, healthy RBs in the room as skillsets. That said ... Loose the Hoos on UNI's ugly caboose!

@streetsaheadhas the vision! Great job! Awesome example!

NoooooOOOOOOOooooooo! Philly Eagles -- worst helmet in football (other than Michigan/Delaware). Next question. I want the whole hawk head, beak, eye, and all, on the side of the helmet. Like I said, basically double in size what you'd had before.
-
Per Tom Miller (GF Herald), expecting out: Bryant, Skokna, Fort, Klein. Picking up Hoosman via the portal is turning out to be huge in light of Skokna being out again. And Fort out only puts more pressure on the defensive backfield. And can Klein just get and stay healthy.

I fear Kunz has a little too much Caulfield to his game. Both are big bodies that seem to play timid. They almost are too nice on the ice. Maybe in the pre-game tunnel Senden or Frisch needs to "cup check" them and then point down the way and say, "Did you just see that rotten < opponent name here > that just did that to you? You gonna take that?" -
Grant "Monster" Mismash?

All kinds of fry feed stuff in the UND and UND Athletics Twitter feeds with when and where and updates. Maybe you curmudgeons need to catch up to the moderately cool yet still behind the times kids (like me). Soy ink and dead trees for information is so last century, and websites are last decade.

Bulldogs have rounded faces. @Prison_Mike, that dog face in your proposal is too pointy. Change it to SIU and sell it to the Salukis.

That's exactly how the Dean's memo reads.

What about Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook?

I'm wrong. We shouldn't fire Bubs and hire gfhockey to run hockey. We fire Chaves and let gfhockey run the whole department! But under the same rules: No Natty, no job. And we mean every year, every sport.

I think it says more about what a train wreck of a schedule UAA has put together. https://goseawolves.com/sports/mens-ice-hockey/schedule/2022-23

Keith McInnis -- UND! Danny Nelson -- Notre Dame EJ Emery Will Zellers Brendan McMorrow -- DU Cole Eiserman -- Moldin' Rodents Sasha Boisvert -- committed to UND before this list was started

Sometimes I think certain members of the media just toss in a "UND" to watch this site vibrate ... "oh my, oh my, we didn't get him, oh woe, oh woe, sack cloth and ashes, commence the wailing and gnashing of teeth and lamentations" ... when we really never had a realistic chance. This is a classic case in point.

That's the concept but with the logo at least double in size from shown: - the "neck feathers" end up by the back collar of the helmet - the beak moves a little more forward and down toward the mask. - the black shading ends up going below ear hole Cover more of the side of the helmet than the SDSU bunny does in the picture above. And I'm glad you have art skills.
-
I'm no artist so I can only try to explain my concept: Green base helmet. Just the white hawk with black shadowing on neck from the logo (no ND from behind it). Make the hawk cover 80-90% of the side of the helmet, beak starting at the "helmet corner" above the wearer's eye. Most of the helmet would end up white, on a green base, because the logo is so big on the side.

The body and brain should've matured. I say should've because they still are Goophers.

Note: Keep ticket topics in the Tickets forum. Thanks.

You're not wrong. Now why does a 24 win over a "more skilled" 18? The 24 not only has more testosterone (bigger body) but a more developed brain and is better able to accomplish complex behavioral performance. In simpler words, the 24 has the better body and better brain to process and understand and then perform the correct action in the game at the time. Even simpler: College hockey is an upperclassman's game.

You see an 18 y/o, 6'2", 178 pound freshman (top 60 NHL pick) headed into the corner for a loose puck with a 24 y/o, 6'1", 200 pound senior and both arrive at the same time. What happens next?

It involves the FAA and ICAO. <-- Two bureaucracies. What could go wrong? The only way it could get "better" is if it involved the IRS and DMV.

That thought process is why I like adding Sidorski. He has a reputation as a defensive minded shot blocker. Assuming he's playing, I'd like to keep PK pucks off of Ethan Frisch and Chris Jandric so their legs are more lively late in games. In general, I'd like the third pair to be able to play more PK and keep that wear off the top pair. -
We got Boisvert and McInnis. That's after getting Perron, Livanavage, Wiebe, Strathmann, Klee, and Slipec the year before.
-
Seems like the decision is made based on the memo from Dean Kraus, specifically: " ... had already begun the process of ... seeking approval of a new one ..." " ... waiting for release of one from another organization and if/when that happens, we will file the appropriate paperwork for approval." My guess is it'll still take a while. Probably have to route the paperwork through like Swaziland or something.

My use of "That" was in reference to Title IX compliance. And if you don't think that (Title IX) is important, I'm not sure what I can say to you. It's only Federal law . <-- I don't have to agree with every law and how it's implemented but you still have to follow them ... and/or work to get them changed. And as far as "having the sport", that's on the NCAA. They mandate number of men's and women's sports to be considered DI. Again you don't have to like or agree* with it, but you have to follow the rules. *I'm on record more than once that "sport sponsorship" minimums for division levels is ridiculous --> Play what you and your fan base can and will support, nothing more, nothing less, while staying in compliance with Federal law.
