Just go for 2 pts after every TD.  I don't understand the problem recruiting/developing kickers.  Has something changed in the last 30 years?  During the prime D2 days, we had Gomez-Tagle, Paterka and Glas.  I would take any one of those guys over these "D1" kickers.
