Ryan Sikes did a detailed stats prediction model to predict the NCHC standings for this year.
Interesting read for the teams.  Probably a couple mistakes, I noticed he still lists Gajan for UMD in net.  ;)

https://rmshockey.substack.com/p/2026-27-ncaa-season-nchc-roster-outlook

His predicted order of finish:

1. DU
2. UND
3. UMD
4. WMU
5. CC
6. Miami
7. UST
8. ASU
9. UNO
10. SCSU

Well, if Johnny Hicks continues saving 96% of shots for Denver, they might just go unbeaten.

I predict that Hicks will have more losses in his first month this season than he did all of last season.  :);)

Pretty bold prediction, or not. i predict that Du will raise two banners - one for last season's natty and one for the '26/'27 season.

Cooper Simpson at less than 0.4 points per game is way too low. Cole Spicer at 0.55 is certainly a prediction too.

How much are season tickets now days?

A little over 1K all in for a pair of upper bowl tickets on the end that UND shoots at twice for a reference point.

Would assume much more pricy for lower bowl tickets

While on the ticket topic - the Gopher ticket office had mentioned in an email the UND vs Minny single game tickets will go on sale some time in late August before the rest of their single game tickets go on sale

Have not seen an updated date sent our from them yet though...

Not sure if anyone in the know has heard that specific on sale date?

I was in touch with a suite rep in May and he said both suites and single game tickets for this series will require purchasing other games as well. Doesn't answer your question but it's an additional stipulation.

Given that he could search my name and see a UND degree on LinkedIn it could be misguidance; he was a bit coy about details.  At the same time he did inform me about the possibility of Thurs/Fri prior to it being announced so I appreciated that.

Ticket sale dates listed on GPL are as follows:

MINNESOTA vs. NORTH DAKOTA PRESALE TIMELINE:
  • Aug. 11 @ 10 AM: Men's Hockey Season Ticket Holders
  • Aug. 12 @ 10 AM: Gopher Score Members
  • Aug. 18 @ 10 AM: UMN Faculty, Staff and Young Alumni
  • Aug. 19 @ 10 AM: Men's Hockey Loyalty

My guess is that you may have a shot after August 19.

After I mentioned I was excited to see the arena filled with Kelly Green I didn't get any more email updates from their ticket office

That's on me - shouldn't have bit the hand that feeds lol

Based on the limited inventory present day the resale market isn't too bad currently. (hell its ironically better than trying to get tickets to the ASU series in Tempe)

I'd assume face value is $100 per ticket and some resale tickets are going for $140 - $160 right now on seat geek.

Folks over there urging the non qualifiers to flood the public purchase zones before ‘pioux’ do.

Link below - You need a password is the only catch. (Once you purchase both nights the password is used up - so mine is toast hah)

I think if you called their box office and let them know you are interested in tickets for that weekend they might be able to sign up your email and send you a fresh link with password

You might be able to sign up online to get ticket updates as well and that might work? Not exactly sure though
