I doubt Schloss throws his name in that article if he doesn’t know that he will enter. He probably even knows where he is going. The first thing that I thought of when seeing that is that Calgary has a great relationship with Dane and have a ton of respect for North Dakota. It would make a lot of sense.

Here's a question about the portal. If a player wants to transfer and knows where he wants to go, and that school wants him, does he have to go through the portal?

Yes but they can have a “do not contact” tag. Most of the top guys know where they are going before they enter and do not want to be contacted by other schools.

That’s ok. I’d rather have the Ruck twins for 2 seasons than Potter for one.

The Ruck twins and Tanner Klimpke, or another older forward, would be a great hall. Not even sure we have that much room up front, but if we could make it work that would be perfect.

He came from the MJHL. The odds of him playing over healthy players was slim. If he leaves UND will just replace him with a similar caliber player.

There are better players on the team that are going to be the extra body/depth.

Which players on the team are you okay with sitting in the stands every game? If you keep swapping players out you mess up lines and chemistry.

Menghini is going to be in his role if he stays. Menghini is a 4th liner/extra depth player. 

One of the guys coming in is going to be bottom 6 player.
