Shut this and the next coach is thread down!

Sather is EASILY the Summit coach of the year at this point.

Tied for 2nd, predicted to finish 8th.

The 23-24 season was awesome until we lost in the 1st round of the playoffs, which definitely had some coaching flaws. So if you throw all that in,  I agree - Lifetime extension now with a key to the City for life!!

They won't make a change but they could based on "body of work". What coach who loses their top players every year could do better in Grand Forks?

Not sure, but St Cloud state’s coach is in his 4th season and has his team 18-5 after going 20-12 last season. If you can win in men’s basketball at that school, you can probably win anywhere. He was a 2 time national champ at Winona State as a player after playing 3 years at Creighton.

Im not a huge fan of NSIC hires… but this guy screams up and comer

We all know Chaves has already given Sather an extension based on a month and a half of solid basketball.

Recency bias is a hell of a drug!

Yeah but I’m told Sather’s and the boyz support the local bars

the previous coaches never did all the back to glas

Not True...

Coaches, all sports were very good supporters of Dagwoods!

The players could only come in with out-of-town family or after graduation.

Some of my Best Employees were UND Athletes.

Many Coaches and Players became lifelong Friends.

At #Many long nights at Dagwood’s

Still a lot of basketball to be played but it’s trending that way

Negativity gets nothing done.

The team is doing great and this group of players is going to be here a while and needs stability.

No group of players is anywhere for long with the state of college sports, someone will be in these players ears to transfer

LOL... most of the players don't even care much for the coach. They like winning, and they are doing great but they are not fond of the staff.

does duke have a scheyer conundrum?

of all the players that passed thru there the last 35 years....i always thought his hiring was a little puzzlin' to say the least.

Ralston might have some words to describe how their last couple of NCAA tourney runs have ended…

call me stupid but in this day and age now i wouldn't mind a 100% turnover rate on the players and coaches every year....don't even annonce who we got...fans show up at game 1 and we find out who the coaches and players are.....

Will Northern Iowa poach our coach?

I know this is a joke but would expect them to hire either Kyle Green or Seth Tuttle. An outside chance of Richman? Or perhaps this is where Craig Smith lands back on his feet?
