We just seemed a bit slow the 3rd period. Need to fix that and the discipline lapses and we should look better.

When all is said and done, I think we should pray that Thoreson is ok after that nasty nasty butt-end that he got from Verhoeff.
Kid could have been seriously injured...so thoughts and prayers to him for a speedy recovery.

That was beautiful, but SC did carry the play a lot. Spunar didn't get a lot of D help that I saw.

I’m late to the party here but about that butt ending. Dumb penalty no doubt about it but it didn’t look like he hit the Husky all that hard but maybe it doesn’t matter? Anyone know the rule on that?

St. Cloud didn’t have a sniff before the 5 minute major.  It just should go to show the players how momentum can change by a lapse in judgement. We were the aggressors before that, and after that St. Cloud was on the offensive even after the end of the penalties.  Hopefully lesson learned, as the guys bailed Verhoeff out this time.
