Totally agree and nobody is gonna wanna play us cuz I honestly feel if we play a complete game on both sides for a full 60 mins we can beat anyone.

No argument here. Fruechte and the boys need to fine tune both the 4 minute (K-State) and 2 minute (Montana, South Dakota, NDSU) offenses. They have time; neither should be needed this week versus Murray State, but the next week could be a different story …

Well this game will tell alot for where Jerry's head is at, if hes the old jerry its pitch and catch all game, if it's what we have seen the last few weeks we'll it could be a semi long day for us to watch. I would like to see the Back up RB's after the first series. Also would like to see Sulik to get some reps with the #1 offense if he is QB 2, we all know what Simon brings so its not necessary to have him out there he can run the offense but wont shock the world. Let's score a ton today, get our heads straight and have no injuries.

Despite the bizarre and recurrent criticism of Romfo, I believe he is the backup. Before anyone pisses all over their bike horn, maybe take a look at our last two opponents and how a walk on QB (who one guy thinks can’t play at this level) did against USD and NDSU last year.

His 2 game totals included 38 of 53 passes (71%) for 356yds 4 TDs and 0 interceptions. He averaged 3 yds per carry and had 1 TD.

This year against the same 2 opponents our QB was 37 of 68 (54%) for 347yds 0 TDS and 5 interceptions. He averaged 3yds per carry and also had 1 TD  

That doesn’t mean we change QB’s, it means we have a capable, experienced QB as our backup.  The unhealthy obsession one guy has with our QBs seems to have convinced some others that if something happens to Jerry all hope is lost. Sulik also can step in but needs more time to develop.  I’m not worried about the backup QB even if JTJ isn’t available. 
 

That’s only my opinion and I don’t ride my bike past FB practices nor have I claimed to be watching UND FB for 20 yrs, so what do I know? Maybe I’m wrong. 

 

imo we can win a natty this year..but it's still year 1 for eric and he's builind up what bubba left over....bringing in simon either bc jerry is hurt or doesn't get his head in the game doesn't do anything to BUILD und football going forward....jack is and should be qb2
