Just google Jason Spezza, Chris Chelios, and Johan Franzen involving their experience with Babcock. The Franzen situation was particularly disturbing. I saw on Twitter that someone said the best thing to happen to Marner was Babcock bullying him. I have to agree, he still comes off as a spoiled kid that is still coddled by the people around him. Modano missed 1500 points because he was health scratched to end the season. Spezza health scratched for the season opener in Toronto, his hometown. 1 hour ago, Godsmack said: The NHL basically said there wasn’t enough in the Columbus situation to prevent him from future coaching opportunities. From everything I've heard about this mist of the players didn't think it was that big of a deal. Seravalli said it wasn't the photo thing that caused him to resign but won't say what it was. NHL will always recycle coaches. The Oilers bigger problem is how dumb Stan Bowman is. Skinner was traded for Jarry who was waved twice, and cost more with a longer contract. If Bowman kept Skinner the Oilers would be out of his contract, but no let's get Jarry and have him for 2 more years. GMs need to be fired as often as coaches get fired. Francis and Bowman, two of the dumbest GMs the NHL has had Quote

It's like they were banking on Stenberg being available at 4. If you are a team that has the cap space and 4 1st round picks, do you offer sheet Bedard? Quote
cberkas Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago Fun Fact: Casey Mittelstadt just got the Sabers the 4th and 45th pick. Quote

They traded a top 4 defenseman (Bowen Byram) for the opportunity to upgrade for another defenseman. I hope that they let Carels or Verhoeff play at least 1 year before having them come in. The owner of the Sabres is Terry Pegula, who is a huge Penn State booster and alum and was rumored to be the one who paid McKenna to come to Penn State. Quote

The owner is the guy that owns the Rockets Edit: I thought it was the Rockets owner and looks like that isn't correct, Dan Friedkin would be the owner. Quote
