Thought that guy had been banned for life.

The NHL basically said there wasn’t enough in the Columbus situation to prevent him from future coaching opportunities.

Of all coaches that should be banned for life, Quenneville is at the top of that list

I’ve done a google search and sadly, it wasn’t just Mitch Marner, Mike Commodore, and Mike Modano who’ve suffered the wrath of Babs. Just google Jason Spezza, Chris Chelios, and Johan Franzen involving their experience with Babcock. The Franzen situation was particularly disturbing.

I saw on Twitter that someone said the best thing to happen to Marner was Babcock bullying him. I have to agree, he still comes off as a spoiled kid that is still coddled by the people around him. Modano missed 1500 points because he was health scratched to end the season. Spezza health scratched for the season opener in Toronto, his hometown.

From everything I've heard about this mist of the players didn't think it was that big of a deal. Seravalli said it wasn't the photo thing that caused him to resign but won't say what it was.

NHL will always recycle coaches. The Oilers bigger problem is how dumb Stan Bowman is. Skinner was traded for Jarry who was waved twice, and cost more with a longer contract. If Bowman kept Skinner the Oilers would be out of his contract, but no let's get Jarry and have him for 2 more years. GMs need to be fired as often as coaches get fired. Francis and Bowman, two of the dumbest GMs the NHL has had

WTF did Chicago do, the 4th and 45th picks for Byran and Greenway

Seems odd as neither seem like they will be key components when they are ready to compete for the Cup.

It's like they were banking on Stenberg being available at 4.

If you are a team that has the cap space and 4 1st round picks, do you offer sheet Bedard?

How this makes sense over Kansas City, I have no clue. Bring back the Scouts...one of the 5 NHL's best logos of all time.
