franchise
I'm thinking that it's Tyler* for sure. (Lapic, Pitlick, Zepeda or Landman)
siouxnami
New Prague played Rochester Lourdes in Rochester yesterday. Lourdes won 3-2 in OT, but with a huge asterisk. Lapic had a concussion (hope he is OK). Seth Amborz is the real deal and will have a ton of offers. He made a beautiful Oshie-ish play to create a goal. I can believe he is a freshman. New Prague will be real good is everyone stays next year. BTW, the OT winner looked alot like Porter's last year...
USA Hockey
I'm not to familar with North Dakota High School Hockey, but I was informed that the player who hit the game winning shot for Grafton Park River was on the bench/visit today. We had a recruit in on Saturday as well.

siouxnami
If Lapic is the committed recruit as some people believe, I suspect that we will hear this week since his season is over. How about he commits and brings a friend...

The Exiled One
If Lapic is the committed recruit as some people believe, I suspect that we will hear this week since his season is over. How about he commits and brings a friend... The buzz on gopherpucklive is that the team Lapic is favoring right now isn't known for getting the obvious high-end players. North Dakota certainly does NOT fit that description. IF it's a WCHA school, it's probably going to be MSUM, SCSU, MTU, or UMD. Mankato isn't very far from New Prague and they don't have any fowards lined up for '09 either. I wouldn't mind him for SCSU either. Honestly, I think Lapic would be alright, but the "in" with his freshman teamate would be a nice bonus too. Ambroz would be an incredible longshot for SCSU, but without Lapic, they're not even in the game. Ambroz's sister (Kacy) is committed to UMD. His older brother Matt plays for UNO. mikejm
The buzz on gopherpucklive is that the team Lapic is favoring right now isn't known for getting the obvious high-end players. Hey. UND has never been at the top of the list when it comes to incoming recruiting classes! Just ask Michigan.
