Brett0909 Posted Saturday at 08:13 PM Posted Saturday at 08:13 PM Interesting collection of NCAA bound player perspectives on the new CHL > NCAA route to the pros. Some UND callouts deeper into the read, once the obligatory McKenna/PSU focus gets out of the way. https://www.nhl.com/news/ncaa-college-hockey-becoming-major-pathway-to-nhl Quote
nascar99 Posted Sunday at 01:51 PM Posted Sunday at 01:51 PM I know it's just preseason and a lot of these guys haven't emerged in junior yet, but looking at these USHL preseason game rosters, it's a lot weaker than in the past, likely a direct result of the CHL getting more big names since they're still NCAA eligible if they play major junior. Still some great uncommitted names like Evan Jardine out there. 2 Quote

Misa was much more far fetched at this point, plenty still thought Carbonneau would go to Boston College for 2026-27 1 Quote
I Ranger Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Based on the news that the CHL won't be giving out scouting passes to college hockey coaches, I think we might see the same situation as this past year where most of the big name CHL guys wait until after there season is over before committing to a college. 2 Quote

Definitely I think most guys that plan on going to college already have their list narrowed down to a couple of schools. Once their season is done, they will likely commit soon after since most of their recruitment has been done. Also, they’ll likely get more NIL if they wait until the spring. Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago WHL games free on Victory+ this season. Some broadcasts are on par with lesser college programs. Good for them going for distribution rather than a diminishing slice of revenue from flohockey or whatever else. Quote
