Wildfan Posted August 31 Posted August 31 KState appears to be getting away with quite a bit of holding on their runs that bump outside. The TD play was clean, the previous 2nd/3rd down that was converted to a 1st, seemed pretty obvious, but the other issue I have seen here is the next guy in the secondary keeps falling for the fake cut back inside the recievers and gets burned outside. If they cut back in we already have multiple guys there, but just give him the edge. Quote

Esoteric Posted August 31 Posted August 31 For the first game of the season, a team's performance can be a mixed bag, especially when facing an opponent that has already played a game. Kansas State had the opportunity to work out its early kinks. It's promising to see good effort and coaching, despite the jitters and mistakes. These are common in a season opener and can be corrected quickly as the team gets more comfortable. Those positive signs and the opportunity to learn from mistakes suggest a solid foundation for the rest of the season. Based on that, it definitely looks like a team with a future this year. What aspects of UND's performance are other posters seeing? 1 1 Quote
