Holy hell that was a fun game to be at! Obviously, Trey put on an all-time performance and that game isn’t close without him. The 2nd half saw some other people step up outside of him, just a bit. At half time, I texted @SWSiouxMNwhere the hell was Eli. Well he showed up in the 2nd.

Guys, stop complaining about the location. The Jacks fans show up. It’s a hell of an environment. I would be shocked if Grand Forks and UND showed up like that if it was at the Ralph.

Also, just come down here and show up for the boys. Like I said, such a fun environment. It’s an easy 4 hour drive. Games not until 9 at the earliest.

Show up and get jobbed?

I can’t believe you guys all ganged up on me last night. Refs were fine in the 1st half. We were getting jobbed in the 2nd half

My biggest complaint in the first half was that non-call travel on Hadnot and then he comes and hammers it home. Although there was a pretty egregious out of bounds call in our favor shortly before that.

You have already forgotten that you were defending them throughout the second half, huh?

Yes, that one was upsetting.  The no over-the-back call had me questioning whether I actually knew the rules of basketball🤷‍♂️

Over the back is not a call in basketball so yes might want to brush up on the rules of basketball 🤷‍♂️

I watched the highlight video this morning and it really stood out how quiet the crowd was even as Eaglestaff was putting on a show.  Jacks fans were loud, but UND didn't seem to be getting much love.

I’d love for you to find where I agreed with the refs in the 2nd half. I explained how a jumpshot shooting team is never going to shoot the same number of free throws as a team that consistently gets paint touches. I said kick him out when they went to review the Cluff foul. I thought they called a few ticky tack fouls on UND in the 2nd half. Sorry that doesn’t fit whatever narrative you have in your head

This is not a foul. If this is what you guys think we were getting jobbed on, then that explains a lot

It’s a fine line, pushing your player from the back while your upper body is over the shoulders is a foul

a few times UND players went flying when Cluff was up to his I’m a big guy so get out of my way and no call

the non flagrant was BS

That should be because he is not vertical

Not a foul yet. Isn’t unless our guy goes straight up and there is more contact. If the Bunny guy can come down with minimum contact then no foul.  If he lands on our guy coming down it should be a foul, but in todays game this kind of contact gets ignored if refs are “letting them play”.

Depends on the ref, some would call it others are homers

There's something there when Trey credited his coaches for his success and if you caught the end of the game they had a great embrace and obviously have a special relationship.  UND was the only school to offer him out of HS and he's being intensely loyal and appreciative of it - that's a good thing!  He's a North Dakota guy at heart and I appreciate that.  Sather might not be the best DI coach but HIS heart is in the right place with his players and he likes coaching here.  Not perfect but I'm okay with him.  UND isn't going to spend any more money on a "big time" coach anytime soon anyway.

If Treyson is this loyal and staying after this year, use the portal to build something special around him for next year.  You can't tell me there's players who would be contributors who would love the opportunity to play with a player of Treyson's caliber.
