Like to give the coach plenty of time to construct their staff and do their due diligence on players. He needs to be let go within 30 minutes of the final buzzer sounding in our final game. The search for a new coach should already be happening on the back end. Let every single player on the roster go and let the new coach construct a whole new team. Need a complete overhaul and revamp of this program. 1 11 Quote

Waits way too long to make changes that are obviously needed. Coaching changes were long overdue for football, slightly less but still waited too long for hockey, and basketball just a big cluster…mess. 4 Quote

The success of the 90's is a distant memory and the leadership over the last two decades has been a big part of the problem. 3 5 Quote

EternalOptimist Posted yesterday at 06:47 PM Posted yesterday at 06:47 PM Please help me understand how the process works. Normally, if a coach gets an extension it usually happens before the start of the last year of the current contract. This gives the most stability to the program as the future is understood. In the case of UND, it It is now getting close to 2026, and roughly half way through the season of the final year of the coaches current contract. I assume the renewal of the contract would be public so we'd know either way. Is the renewal of the contract dependent on some level of success, or other markers? Is every week that goes by an indicator there won't be a renewal? Help me understand what is going on with the contract - or what we can read into the delay. Thanks Quote

UND1983 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Basically Chavez E Chavez gave him one more chance to win an extension this year. Not gonna happen so they part ways at the end of the year, is my thought 3 Quote
