South Dakota State University (SDSU) spent $50 million on the renovation of Frost Arena. This extensive remodel was supported by a significant donation from First Bank & Trust, which contributed $20 million. Is there anything specific you'd like to know about the renovations? sioux24/7 Posted October 9, 2024 Author Posted October 9, 2024 I think the 3-5 range is probably our sweet spot. NDSU will be good. SDSU looks like they’re reloading. KC brings back a lot. UST is always going to be tough with Tauer coaching. Oral Bob has probably the best guard in the conference. How do you see the rotation playing out? 1 - Reggie Thomas 2 - Eli King 3 - Trey 4 - Woodson 5 - Amar Mara, Panoam, Mayar and Mathews off the bench. Could see King shifting to the 6th man roll too. 1 Quote
forksandspoons Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Need a sniper other than Trey. Is it Kraft? Quote

Looks good, although I think Eli remains a starter all season. Good starting 5; the question will be what we end up getting from our bench. Quote
Goon Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 How did we get Alabama to come to the Betty? That's a big deal. Quote

Letting a local kid play in his home state. The article back when it was announced said UND called Bama to gauge their interest and they said yes. 1 Quote

GoodGood Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 250 in the first KenPom rankings. Hopefully we can avoid the 300s this year! 1 Quote

forksandspoons Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 The more I think about it, the more I really like the transfers they brought in. Everyone better jump on the bandwagon now cause I think they’ll be competing for the Summit title! 2 Quote
GoodGood Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Umkc should be good with what they return. I think ndsu could be really good. Richman finally buying into portal. Federson and Moni are going to be a really nice duo. Hearing sdsu really likes what they brought in and the big guy from Washington State looks like the player of the year. Everyone else seems like a toss up other than I think Denver and Omaha will be bad 2 Quote

SDSU will be fine too, maybe not quite as dominant but top 3. 1 Quote

sioux24/7 Posted October 20, 2024 Author Posted October 20, 2024 I’m feeling quite optimistic about this year. Leagues pretty open. Although we don’t have the high end talent players, Omot and Ihenacho, I think we have better depth and maybe players that are willing to buy more into how Sather wants his teams. Hopefully someone can get some info on how they fare today against UNI. That will be a good barometer, at least to start. 1 Quote

According to UNI forum one poster stated that it was 89-67 UNI... another poster stated he was wrong and that UNI won by 8. 1 Quote
ND1 Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Spoke to a player at target this morning, UND was ahead most the game then lost by 8 in the last couple of minutes. Player seemed happy with their performance 1 Quote
