Well growing up in South Dakota and half my friends at Vermillion and half at Brookings.  They both have strong and weak points.  But, both schools are a bit like commuter schools on weekends in the fall unless the football team is in town.  During the winter months and spring everyone tends to stick around campus.  Brookings might be slightly better but the town of Brookings is a little heavy handed with the police.  They are a bit more aggressive.  But, it is true both D-Days and Hobo Days are a lot of fun.

From everything I have heard over the years, Brookings is a great college town. Hobo Days were one great college party regardless of which town.

Haven't you heard? They're going after Hobo Days as being insensitive to some group. (Not kidding.)

Hobos are cleaner that bums, they also care.  Hobo Shoestring.
North Dakota to Washington, they very much so still ride the trains. Prefer to ride in the Cadillac Grainers up from the hitch.

Damnit. Now I'll spend way too much time watching this guy's channel.

So basically, the Summit League is the hobos of college basketball?
