His flight was delayed. Supposed to get in this morning. Should be landing shortly unless it was delayed again...

Ha, how do some of you know this stuff :)

Its not unusual coming out of Canada, delays are usually due to:

Stopping at Tim Horton's for Coffee and Donuts.

Team bus may have had to stop for a beaver crossing the road.

Plane may have hit a Moose on the runway.

May have lost track of time while eating bacon and drinking syrup.

Side note: Since Canada lost, does that mean we get to send Bieber back?

I feel like our team is ready to explode (in a good way) & really go on a terror run - more scoring on all lines & bettor D

I had a vision - may have to buy a lottery ticket tomorrow :D

Where are best places in Omaha to eat/get a beer before and after the game?

Old Market is fun before the game, lots of bars and restaurants. Have always had a good time at DJ's Dugout or Mattress Factory afterwards. Unfortunately that is when Omaha still played at the CenturyLink Center, so all of that was walking distance.

Friday's game will be televised on NET (Nebraska's public TV channel). You can stream it for free at http://netnebraska.org/

For the folks staying in the Aksarben area hotels, catch a meal at Jimi D's. I live nearby and always go there before Mav games. It's right next to the arena. Reasonably priced Italian/bar food.

There's also a new cajun/creole themed cocktail bar called Herbe Sainte (pretty much right across from the hotels). If you want a great steak check out The Drover which is also nearby.

Hope you enjoy your time in my hood before your tear-filled seven hour drive back to no where!

Ummm..........

I think he meant the tears from laughing at how pathetic UNO played...

I bet there was some chest pounding after the first goal on Saturday...after that, not so much. :D

I legit saw Ortega do a fist pump celly to make the game 7-1 on Friday... I laughed pretty hard.

Reminded me of Cordarelle Patterson showboating on a kickoff TD return when the Vikes were losing by 25-30 points.

What's everyone think about Tyson Jost after this weekend? Wow, I knew he has a great young man, but he showed what he's made of this weekend.  What a character guy for this team!
