dakotadan Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 UND tried to crawl back into the set. But ISU won 25-18. UND still leads 2-1. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 something about ISU that UND can't quite solve. ISU up 11-5 in set 4. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 all ISU right now. UND needs something to stop the momentum... and fast! Quote
dakotadan Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Another ugly set. ISU takes it 25-14. Quote
Dustin Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Absolutely man handled (woman handled? Trumped?!) in both sets 3 and 4. Decisive set 5 coming. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 ISU with 2 straight. Match point for ISU TO UND 14-13 ISU Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 ISU complete comeback....... the ISU jinks continues Quote
Dustin Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 That's going to hurt us in the long run. Bad deal not closing a 2-0 lead on the road. Quote

UNDBIZ Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Paul Ralston, how would you describe UND's play after the second set? 1 Quote
teamsioux Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Ugly disappointing loss. Watch Pryor's interview on UND Insider. Not a happy coach for good reason. http://bit.ly/2eso5xF Quote
Fan95 Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 if you watched this game, there was real reason to not be happy. But, if you have ever noticed, this coach tends to always blame the players for the losses but is happy to accept the wins as a complete team. Why don't you ever hear him talking about what he and the rest of the coaching staff could have done differently, when do they shoulder some responsibility? Pryor is about as invested in this team as he is in this community, it only is good for him when he can get something out of it and look good! 1 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) the more frustrating thing was they could have won that 5th set. Up 13-12 and Dooley just missed getting a kill by about 3 inches. Whatever, over it, bounce back again Weber today. I hope they can figure out ISU soon, this could be a first round matchup in the Big Sky tournament, or semis if ISU keeps charging up the standings (they have won 6 in a row now and still have NAU and SAC to play) Edited October 22, 2016 by SWSiouxMN correction on player 1 1 Quote

Pryor, Idalski and Jones are in need of some attitude adjustment. Send in Bubba. Quote

Pryor doesn't seem capable but making in-game adjustments, like the ISU coach did. Pryor and Jones share a lot of attributes at UND: both seem to be excellent recruiters, develop their players, and have good plans going into a game, but don't ask them to make a mid game strategy correction or embrace the community.
