NoDak Fan Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Don't those Tech fans have school tomorrow? Five years removed from the old college hockey order and it's safe to say Tech has been a beneficiary of realignment and formation of the NCHC. Top-half league finishes, home-ice in playoffs and two NCAA Tournament appearances. I don't believe they would be there playing in the WCHA with the likes of UND, Denver, Duluth, SCSU Omaha and CC. 1 Quote

Agree totally. Michigan Tech hockey is relevant again. I have to find the video of fans storming the ice after the win over Bowling Green. 4 Quote

Wilbur Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Might have been a charge there. Left his feet. 2 Quote
cberkas Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 I hope everyone on Denver lets Penn State know what they think of Jerry Sandusky because of that hit. 1 Quote
NoDakFan Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Wow, that definitley should've been a charge. Clearly launched before contact. 2 Quote

Washburn Sioux Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 The ref was watching it and doesn't call it. Where are the refs from for this game? 1 Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 So how does this work? If they call a 5:00 major, do we add time back to the clock and pretend the last 45 seconds or so didn't happen? Quote

I thought it had to be called a penalty in order to review for a 5? Quote

UNDMOORHEAD Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Since the formation of the Big 6 they only have two wins vs NCHC teams in the national tourney. That was Minnesota in their runner-up year. Also the last year they had a team in the Frozen 4. Quote
NoDak Fan Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 3 years in a row with 2 NCHC teams in the Frozen Four. Yeah, I think it's the best conference in hockey. 4 1 Quote
