bincitysioux Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) Bradley is 1-7 on the season. They are one of the weakest programs treading water in the best Mid-Major Conference in the country. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that North Dakota shouldn't come out and give them a VERY competetive game on Saturday. This should be a very winnable game for North Dakota's flagship university................. Edited December 3, 2015 by bincitysioux 1 Quote

They have played Arizona, Virginia, Seton Hall, and Ole Miss. Their win was against Ball State who is 6-2 on the year. This is going to be a very tough game especially on the road where Jones has an extremely poor record. 1 Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 1- Sounds like a racist nickname to me.2- Oh great, a 1-7 team UND should beat but probably wont, setting them back even more. Sigh.3-Hope they beat these racist Bradley dudes and make us all smile. Quote

UND is the oldest and largest University in our state. It sports the largest athletic department budget in our state. We should be able to put up a fight amongst the worst that the Missouri Valley has to offer. The best that the MVC has to offer already blew us out of our own building. I certainly don't expect this team to do the same....... 2 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 This needs to be a win... no exceptions Quote
hoops44 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Heck UND should be better than Duke according to Bin city UND way bigger than Duke ....UND15000 plus students vs Duke less than 7500 . 1 3 Quote

Last time these two teams played was a 78-69 Bradley win on November 19, 2011. Quote

UND-FB-FAN Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'd like some of what hoops is drinking. At this point, he's just blatantly playing devil's advocate.Carry on. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Reason why is because UND has deemed him worth 100k based on results. And if we pay the next coach of UND MBB (because I don't see Jones being here much longer) based on that standard, we'll get another mediocre D-I assistant who isn't head coach material. Quote
Shawn-O Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Men's basketball was a glorious program for decades and can be again! I take some solace from some that have confirmed that BF is talking to people! 2 Quote

TrueSioux2000 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Bradley is 1-7. If you average out how many points they've lost by it comes out to about an average of 16 points. Bradley's blowout losses: Arizona (6-1, loss to Providence), 90-60 Virginia (6-1, loss to George Washington..ouch), 87-52 Delaware (4-2, losses to Iona/Temple), 70-47Bradley barely lost to Towson (5-3, losses to La Salle/OK State/Ole Miss), 62-60So, overall, you'd think UND has a chance to come out playing hard, and competitive basketball. I hope the F'Hawks can get a road win, but it would be our luck to lose to the 1-7 team. Quote
TrueSioux2000 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Oh yea and they have a hostile and abusive nickname. Quote
darell1976 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Oh yea and they have a hostile and abusive nickname. Actually they don't. They use Braves as we all do in the National Anthem, as a general term, not as an Indian type braves. They were on the NCAA's watch list, and as of 2005 haven't used any NA imagery associated with the name. Quote

UND1983 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Was just reading about Bradley. They completely overhauled the roster with new coach. 9 true freshman. They lost to New Orleans at home, who is bad. Bradley is a young, bad basketball team. Quote
siouxstudent Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 We are 2 point underdogs in this game.Scary- I have my doubts but hope we can pull it out. Quote
