darell1976 Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 a $5.00 can of stick'm and we would have 5 picks??we are due!!Very true, I thought for sure we had a pick, then its dropped. Very frustrating. Quote
Sioux94 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Think they need to do some catch em drills this week to hold on to those picks, we can't drop those next week and in Big Sky play. Quote
iramurphy Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Watch our skill kids warm up. They don't always look the ball into their hands. Should be every player every time. DB's, RB's, receivers, LB's, QB's, punters etc. Basic fundamentals. Look the ball into your hands every time you catch it. You do it warming up, you do it in practice it, becomes a habit. Makes it less likely you drop passes or interceptions. Always need to pay attention to details. Quote

ND WINS!!!! Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Better? - The one good team we've played so far? -not good. We'll see when we continue to bang within our conference - some very tough games left. Stats can lie and I'm not really sure we can hang our hats on the Wyoming and Drake games, just yet? Quote
darell1976 Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 I meant better compared to last year. We had no offense last year through 3 games, this year there is signs of life. Quote
Siouxphan27 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Nearly dead last in total offense. Zero turnovers caused by the defense. Not sure how this equals getting better- But I appreciate your optimism. Quote

Not sure how this equals getting better- But I appreciate your optimism.Scoring almost 10 more points per game than last year, and allowing 139 less rushing yards per game than last year is better. Some stats are still ugly like turnovers caused by defense and our passing defense, but some things are showing a couple beeps on the heart monitor. The big improvement....2-1 including an FBS win going into conference play. Quote
ClassB Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Not sure how you can look at those numbers and NOT see improvement? I understand it's been ugly lately, but when we're looking at facts lets look at facts. 1 Quote

Overall, early offensive stats very similar to 2014 -- but trending in the wrong direction. Defense continues to improve, largely with "Muss recruits." Shows what a solid DC can do for a program. Overall, early offensive stats very similar to 2014 -- but trending in the wrong direction. Defense continues to improve, largely with "Muss recruits." Shows what a solid DC can do for a program.Scored zero against Misery State...scored 9 against the defending National Champion. Scored 10 against San Jose St, racked up 276yds rushing and scored 24 in an FBS win. This offense is better this early than last year. It's not saying much but any team will embrace an improvement over the past season, especially when you are rebuilding. Quote
