Quite befitting that it isn't even the best team in that conference that wins the regular season title. Nevermind Ohio State last weekend, Michigan also won a SO against WI at home in the fall, lost to MN at home the night after embarrassing the Gophers 8-2, lost a road SO to Ohio State earlier this season, lost to Michigan State at the Joe, won a SO at WI, and lost in OT at MN one night after blowing them out of Mariucci, Lots of stuff to look back on and think, "WTF? How did we lose this thing?" Quote

Listening to the Denver pxp and color commentator talk to each other during intermission. I don't think they realize the mic is hot during their breaks? Mentions how the NCHC brass must've had a huge collective sigh of relief that North Dakota made it to the Frozen Faceoff or they would've lost tons of money. Mentioned the doomsday scenario of DU, CC, Omaha, and Miami making the Faceoff. Quote

Should have pretty solid crowds. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 UNO scores. 3-3. California hot sauce Ortega. Quote

jk Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Get this. Northeastern started the year 1-11-2. In its last 19 games, it's 17-1-1. THAT is the type of team you don't want to see as a four seed in the NCAA tournament. (They're currently PWR #14.) Quote

If you look at their schedule though they played all the good hockey east teams early and now have been feasting on the likes of UMASS, UCONN Merrimack and Maine. This weekends sweep of Notre Dame looks good, but a loss in the semis and they are probably out. 1 Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 i don't care if they play in the B10, winning 17 out of your last 19 games is pretty impressive! 1 Quote

Northeastern has made the turnaround without their star forward Kevin Roy lighting up the board all season long. Only has 8G and 12A for 20 Pts so far this season. Bit of a down year for him point wise. Quote
cberkas Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 4-3 Denver beats Omaha in 2 overtime. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 UNO's free fall has finally hit rock bottom. Denver puts UNO out of their misery as well as ends their season. Quote
cberkas Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 Denver looked to have too many men on the ice when Omaha was attacking Denver's zone. Quote
