I think that was the true plan, use him as the “opener”, then let Thorpe be the “main” pitcher

Oh ok, was hoping he didn't get hurt or something.

Rocco has made the right moves, just has gotten burned both times.

Yeah, nothing you can do.....I would have brought in Smeltzer to save Rodgers for the 9th, but that's me.

The last two games have shown the importance of the revamped bullpen.  The addition of Dyson and Romo as well as Duffy and May finding their groove has been a huge difference.

Five innings tomorrow Jose......just five.....

I thought Cave should've bunted with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs.

Yeah me too, with this teams power cutting the lead in half makes it a long ball here and there to a new game. 1 or 2 runs would have helped there.

Cleveland saved by a great play in center field and they barely hang on against the Sox.

Maybe one inning too many for Berrios, but they have to try and get him rolling down the stretch some how.

If Arraez can get on it could get interesting......great AB.....great AB.  I love watching him hit.

That'll do it.  No wasted bullpen arms, so tomorrow when Perez pitches they should be able to piece it together if he keeps it close.  If he blows up and the team doesn't have a prayer we can watch Littell pitch the night away.

7-2 road trip thus far.  Can't remember a Twins team that was better on the road.
