MafiaMan
Domi = proof that worthless thugs and cheap-shot artists can reproduce. It'd be a real shame to see Domi Jr bite chunk of that tongue off after a loss in the medal round.

NoDakFan
Is the US allowed to file a complaint to the IIHF about the goal call? Also, whats the rule on goal horns for teams at world tournaments? I find it weird that they are allowed to use the horn for only them... NoDakFan
Under IIHF rules goalie interference is not reviewable. Could something like this happening to a big team like the US eventually lead to that rule being changed?

I Ranger
Russia just made the USA's path to gold much more difficult. We are going to have to beat Russian and Sweden just to get to Canada who has a cakewalk to the gold medal game with Denmark and then either the Czechs or Slovaks. cberkas
Could something like this happening to a big team like the US eventually lead to that rule being changed? Only if it happened to Canada in Canada, like at Sochi with the Russians.

Emerald joker
It was just irritating listening to the announcers saying you cant be in that blue paint and interfear with the goalie, when that is exactly how the canads just scored

OETKB
It was just irritating listening to the announcers saying you cant be in that blue paint and interfear with the goalie, when that is exactly how the canads just scored Exactly. The international rules make no sense. Play is blown dead if someone skates into the blue but does not affect the play. However, a guy can run into the goalie before scoring, and that is ok? SiouxScore
I think this U.S. team still has a level we haven't seen yet and hopefully it comes out these next 3 games in a row. Really was surprised the way we struggled with puck control at times today and the unforced turnovers. Canada really tries to play the intimidation type with stuff after the whistle and high hits and the refs let it go all night.
