sprig Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 May be seeing why they were running every play Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Geez - gotta give our qb a chance to throw - complete missed assignment Quote
Sioux94 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 NAU has us right where they want us......3rd and long. Quote
Sioux94 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Alright....let's have the freshman drive us down the field......and the freshman kicker nail the game winning field goal! Quote
Sioux94 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Why do we have no RB in the backfield to at least run play action, or run the ball! Quote
Sioux94 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 There was plenty of time....why did we come out in passing sets? Quote
Sioux94 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 That's what I'm talking about.....woohoo!! Quote
sprig Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Alright....let's have the freshman drive us down the field......and the freshman kicker nail the game winning field goal! You called it. And thanks NAU on going conservative after getting the lead Quote
Oxbow6 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Give the team credit...after last week this is a huge win. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Nice victory against a ranked team. Given all the youth on this team, it's a great closing victory for the home schedule and Bubba's rebuilding year. Be nice to win next week at Northern Colorado too. Quote
MoSiouxFan Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Gotta give the offensive line a lot of credit, too. We rushed for 297 yds. against a first place team. Very happy for Garman, too, rushing for 235 in his final home game and the most for a UND runningback, according to the announcers, since Chappell in 2006. Quote
sprig Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Forgotten how good winning against a good team feels. Hope for many more to come Quote
SiouxVolley Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Jer Garman and the OLine deserve a lot of credit, especially after all the guff this board and I have given them. They are up to the task. Congrats too to Studsrud and Taubenheim! Quote
Sioux94 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Garman had great game that is for sure. When he gets enough carries and gets in a groove he can really be productive. I'm not comparing him at all to Barry Sanders, but Garman would go down easy many times early in the year and get no yards or lose a yard. Sanders was kind of the same way sometimes, he'd run for zero...or one yard, but then bust one for 15 or longer. Garman has shown a great knack for knowing when to take it to the outside and he is quick, was really fun watching him today. Quote

I don't want to freeze my butt off watching that game... Quote

Congrats too to Studsrud and Taubenheim! Big congrats to all of them. If our OLine supposedly doesn't have a DI guy on the roster, give credit to the coaches (as well as the kids) for looking like a pretty decent OLine today. Pass blocking still needs some work, and definitely is not Garman's strong suit either....picking up the blitz. Great win and I can now be happy the rest of the day....Go Sioux!! Quote
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 What was today's attendance? Somewhere between not very many and just a few..... Quote
sprig Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 However few were there, they were loud, especially at the end Quote
