So I'm watching the recording of Saturday's Wisconsin/DU game and DU has a freshman forward named Danton Heinen who has a real knack for finding the back of the net. He leads the team in scoring with 6 goals and 7 assists in 11 games. UND will really need to shadow this guy with their best defensive players.

Dan Senkbeil, former Sioux, is having a nice game tonight for Vermont. Catamounts winning 3-0 in the 3rd period against UMass.

Well, he's not exactly lighting up the score sheet but if I had to guess, I bet Senkbeil is one of the most popular guys in that locker room.

I sure hope UND makes it up to Burlington next season before Vermont builds a new arena. I'd love to go out there for a series. That old barn they currently play in looks really cool.

Miami and St. Cloud. Of course, St. Cloud has now dropped out of the top 16 in PWR.

Yes it is early and there will be a lot of bouncing around. It is still fun to watch. Right now it looks like being #1 is a recipe to lose.
