90siouxfan Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Looks like Dillon is in 5th place, 1500 votes out of the lead and trailing the Goofer goalie!!! Quote
scpa0305 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Jonny hockey is running away this this one. However its a marathon not a sprint. Quote

I am aware of that but is fun to show support, I haven't been able to vote today and don't recall voting yesterday. I hope a non UND fan hasn't rigged the system. Quote

yzerman19 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Dillon is a solid dman, but nobody without green tinted glasses really thinks he is Hobey material...flame away, but I have more intellectual integrity than homerism 1 Quote

I wasn't saying that you guys didn't know this, I stated it because I didn't know this! I thought it mattered! Also I thought it counted as a percentage, not that if you got the most votes they won. But I guess it is neither... Quote

scpa0305 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Dillon is a solid dman, but nobody without green tinted glasses really thinks he is Hobey material...flame away, but I have more intellectual integrity than homerism Very true....however over the last few weeks he has looked like one of the all around best defensemen in the country. The guy can score, he can play the PP, he blocks shots like a man child. Are you taking those things into consideration or simply noting other defensemen around the league have more points? Quote
smokey the cat Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Dillon is a solid dman, but nobody without green tinted glasses really thinks he is Hobey material...flame away, but I have more intellectual integrity than homerism Well now I have an answer to my question. Quote

Big A HG Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Gaudreau has the Hobey almost locked up. The kid has been unreal. -Averaging 2 points per game -22 goals in 25 games so far -Tack on 28 assists in those 25 games It doesn't hurt that he plays on a beast of a line, but he's the top guy on that top line on a top team in the country. I agree with yzerman...Dillon's been great for us, but outside of our little circle, who's really putting him in a realistic Hobey conversation. Quote

Gueadrreeooouua had that thing thing locked up long before the season started. I'm just glad hes having a season that deserves to win it.......which he is. Quote

geaux_sioux Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Simpson is not Hobey material, not even close. He's a serviceable player at best. Rocco and Schmaltz probably have a better chance and they have zero chance. Quote
