Wilbur Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I'm betting that penalty is unsportmanlike on UND......just a thought.....just a thought..... Why not accept the offsides and punt it again? Its only a 28 yard punt if you decline the penalty? Quote
gfhockey Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 They got aa hot rb.... Lol is muss that bad of a coach?? Decing an offisdes penatly?? Quote
gfhockey Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 LLove the penalty declin e....muss playing head games with sdsu Quote
scpa0305 Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I have been hearing from my family that their D is pretty shabby but this RB is running wild on them. What gives? He must be the only one they need to stop. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I'm just confused as to why you don't attempt to punt them deeper? Quote
sprig Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I guess the bunnies have given up passing practice, and will finish us off running the ball. Quote
JackJD Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Zenner's fourth 200+ yard game in his career. Quote
Matt Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 How about some props for the Jacks defense too. The UND offense has weapons, and they haven't been able to put a drive together. Quote
dakotadan Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I have been hearing from my family that their D is pretty shabby but this RB is running wild on them. What gives? He must be the only one they need to stop. He is a stud, and our junior high tackling skills are making him look even better. At this point we should just stick 5 guys on him alone and see if SDSU even has a second play in their offensive playbook besides giving it to Zenner every single play. Quote
Wildfan Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 To me the keys to where we ended up in the game now, besides obviously Zenner. Pass Interference on UND, which seemed like a call that should never be called, didn't see any interference. When getting into the backfield, ND are going deep, even when SDSU is running inside, if you run down the line you possibly get a hit on the side of zenner knocking him off balance, instead of letting him drive through you. Turnovers. Tough anytime where you are losing the turnover game, expecially if it is by more then 1. QB's need to slide, you are not a running back, if you get a good chunk of yardage, slide, protect yourself, protect the ball. Quote
gfhockey Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Love the up the gut play when we are geting beat 28 7 in 3rd...way to wijd the clock down muss Quote
dakotadan Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 FINALLY a positive spark to give us some hope. Now put it in the endzone!!! Quote
Wilbur Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Zenner's fourth 200+ yard game in his career. Very impressive runner. I'll be anxious to see what he does against a good defense like NDSU. Quote
Matt Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I don't think he's reached the 100yd mark against them. Quote
BobIwabuchiFan Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Now you will see SD score because they we running to play out the clock and not run it up...tic for tat...Jesus Hammer quit saying ND state! Quote
senor_sieve Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I don't think he's reached the 100yd mark against them. your commentator a few minutes ago said he hasn't had more than 46 yards in a single game against NDSU. Quote
Wildfan Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Now you will see SD score because they we running to play out the clock and not run it up...tic for tat...Jesus Hammer quit saying ND state! I thought he said ND State too, i was like no way i have voices in my head. Atleast now we got that straightened out. Quote
talltower Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 28 to 14 Und needs to get a stop. Zenner is a stud. Still a quarter to go. Quote
JackJD Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 your commentator a few minutes ago said he hasn't had more than 46 yards in a single game against NDSU. I think that's accurate...I know it he didn't hit 50 yards in either of the games against NDSU last season. We just have to figure out how to adjust when NDSU devotes a lot of its resources to covering Zenner....that's an opportunity. Quote
dakotadan Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Now the defense needs to REALLY step up and come up with a stop or a turnover. You know that SDSU is just going to continue giving it to Zenner every single play and run down that clock. Even on that last carry of the quarter by Zenner, the defender actually wrapped him up properly for the tackle, but he is so strong in his legs he pulled the defender for 2 yards before going down. Defense was there and tackled him properly, but he still managed to squeak out a few yards. Quote
UNDBIZ Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Fire hammer if he says north Dakota state one more time. Ryan kasowski can replace him full time. He'd probably call a better hockey game too Quote
dakotadan Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 SDSU giving it to Zenner on 4th and inches. I would too. Quote
