SWSiouxMN Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 Really? On the BSC website they have UND #1 in the standings. lost the 3rd tiebreaker for seedings sure they are just #1 because they have a better overall record that PSU and didn't apply tiebreakers in the standings Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 The call NAU over Mont in 4 ISU over UNC in 5 PSU over NAU in 3 UND over ISU in 4 UND over PSU in 5 Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 4 UND players honored on All-Big Sky team http://www.undsports.com//ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=209326584 Pioske also was awarded co-freshman of the year in the Big Sky as well Quote
Smoggy Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I don't watch a bunch of other mayches but seems Portland state dominated player nods. Who votes? And is it their rep of winning normally? Congrats to our girls that got awards! Quote

Congrats to our girls that got awards! From bigskyconf.com: The team was selected by the league's coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own student-athletes. Quote
Dustin Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 It will probably be neither. Hardee was on with Tim and Swyg and this was brought up a couple weeks ago. Currently the regular season champ gets to host next year. But last year the #4 seed UNC won at home so that was a bit of an issue. The other problem is that Idaho joins the conference next year. With the even number of teams we are probably going to divisions. Hardee seemed to think regular season champ will host. I'm not sure how that will work with the divisions and you could have a tie between each division. I'm really bummed by this scenario, but it makes sense. Just too bad that we will probably lose out. Don't quite know if I'd consider this a confirmation, but on undsports.com, they have reported that starting next year, the regular season champ will host the conference tourney. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=209325913 Can't wait for the Betty to start hosting Big Sky tournaments!! andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 UNC and ISU in the fourth set. ISU leads 2 sets to 1. Quote
southpaw Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I'm pretty torn on who I want to win between UNC and ISU today. Both teams have caused some troubles for UND. Quote
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 ISU starting to pull away in the 4th set. 18-12 Quote
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 And that's it. UND plays ISU. Quote
Dustin Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 ISU will be UND's opponent. Bengals win 3-1. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 Montana is taking it to NAU, up 2 games to none so far Quote
Dustin Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 It took 5 games, but Montana did prevail against NAU. Quote
nodakvindy Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 ISU comes back and takes set 1 25-20 Quote
nodakvindy Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 ISU with a huge comeback and takes set 2 26-24. UND really struggling with receiving serves. Quote
dmksioux Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 UND was up by 6-8 points most of that second game, but unable to close it out. Lots of unforced errors receiving serve and some bad passing let ISU come back. They have a lot of work to do if they want to play tomorrow. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 Season stays alive with a comeback of their own 25-23 set 3 win! Quote
MoSiouxFan Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 UND rallies from 23-20 deficit to win 25-23. Quote
dmksioux Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Season stays alive with a comeback of their own 25-23 set 3 win! Wow, came back from dead there. Thought the season was done when ISU went up 23-20. Hopefully the rally provides a spark and they come out strong in the 4th game. Quote
nodakvindy Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 huge comeback there to stay alive! a lot of heart shown there. Quote
dmksioux Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Gonna have to dig deep once again... Quote
dmksioux Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Well that stinks. ISU played solid. UND did not pass well which really messes up the opportunity for the setter to give good looks to the hitters. Looks like we will have to wait a bit longer for our first non- hockey NCAA berth. Quote
