His talent level is just north of the cast of Jersey Shore! Consider the source and the fact he was canned from his nightly gig. He's an embarrassment to be associated to this region/area.

Absolutely. An absolute embarrassment to our state.

What would you call Scott Hennen or the state legislature? As for the sandbags a couple of questions. What are these bags going to be used for? Are they to protect private property? Are the tax payers being billed to protect private property? Child labor to fill sandbags to protect private property on the tax payers dime? Can the people who need bags not pay for their own bags and sand? You know take responsibility for their own property and not expect the state to do it for them? Like people in Grand Forks did for years. All along Elmwood Dr. in Grand Forks the people who lived their bought their own sand and bags and built their own protection. Would this not fall under the ideology that if someone builds in a flood plain by a river be responsible to protect their own property and not rely on the state to protect them (socialism)? Now they are taking kids and indoctrinating them into serving the state. Would this not be like the FEMA camps and AmeriCorps brainwashing the young?

Why? Because these tax payer paid for sand bags will be used to protect your house?

Are you so ignorant to comprehend the fact that if it floods private property first it will eventually flood the city as well? One isn't exclusive from the other when everything sits in a bowl.

And my daughters, 12 and 7, have been to Sandbag Central to help fill bags...with me present shoveling right beside them.

People have their own opinions in the flood fight, thats fine. But are you honestly backing Ed's comments?

PS: How does Scott Hennen have anything to do with this?

How about you go down to sandbag central and volunteer to lay out those sandbags. Then you will see that those sandbags for the most part aren't used to protect individual homes. They are used to reinforce and raise dikes to protect entire neighborhoods, and city facilities, and public property, etc. Even though I don't live in Grand Forks, or Fargo, or any other community along the Red River, I and my sons have gone to Fargo to help fill and place sandbags. And not once were we working on an individual home or property. Please don't follow the Ed Schultz path of ignorance.

Grand Forks was full of slaves in 97 right? There is a difference in being forced to do this (slave labor) and doing this out of the goodness of your heart. Those kids had brought home permission slips from school to do this, they could have stayed in school but felt helping keep the city above water was more important. Ed Schultz's comment was really stupid an your comment rivaled that.

Suckers. You all played right into where I was leading you. You guys take the RWNJ stance and when I took the RWNJ stance you attacked me for spouting YOUR beliefs and not mine. I was playing teanut and you all bit. Now all of you are taking a socialist/liberal attitude when it directly affects you. Way to funny. You guys are like the old people riding their Medicare paid for scooters screaming for the government to keep their hands off their Medicare.

And you are wrong. I did not spout beliefs. I relayed my actual sandbagging experience. The purpose of the board is to discuss, not to be a jerk. But, you have chosen to let the world believe that nothing you say can be taken as a real statement from you. You are now #3, the third person on my ignore list as completely irelevent.

I don't know. I spent the afternoon by my pool catching rays. Heading to Vegas tomorrow for a couple if days. I guess it is not that bad.

While you were doing that, did you manage to come up with the list of players with much better college stats than Kristo that have spent eternity toiling in the ECHL? Or just going to move on from being called out on that one?

Helping others in a time of need is not a liberal concept. Unsustainable social programs that accomplish nothing other than to perpetuate generational poverty is.

You better stop while you are ahead. You are making way too much sense! ;)
