Siouxperfan7
Hockey day in MN. Wild game on FSN right after the Goofer vs Sioux Watch the Sioux win Saturdays game to complete the sweep, then watch Parise in his first game with the Wild beat Colorado!! Sounds like a pretty good hockey day if you ask me!!

OneT
The games both nights will also air on Fox College Sports Atlantic if you do not get FSN in your area.
Slap Shot
So DHG brought Gophers and Sioux fans together for a moment? Anyway, the NCAA should have left you alone sorry to beat a dead horse. Good luck kind of - Go Gophers!

DLW4GOPHERS
Anyone think seeing parise in a green and white #11 jersey will trigger some PTSD from gopher fans? Not so much. The 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons went ok for the Gophers. I would imagine you would get the same feeling everytime you see Grant behind the Gopher bench. Recruiing is a battle just like a hockey game. You are not going to win them all. When one recruiting battle is over you go on to the next one. Over the years Minnesota has expanded their recruing areas. Condon from Wisc., Warning from Mo. and next season Guertler from Florida. Gopher will always get the bulk of thre players grom the home state, but you have to go out add a few pieces from other areas. Last year we got the Gertlers, Cammaratas and Kloos. This year you got Gersich & Poganski. Next.
yzerman19
Parise was playing for Shattuck in 2001-2002. Oh, and Potulny is not Parise.

yzerman19
According to Grant's dad UND never recruited him. 100% true. Grant will tell you the same. Grant did not fit the mold of Blaiser's teams. Blais built teams around skating and speed. Grant Potulny has a lot of talents for hockey, but skating and speed are not at the top of the list. His intangibles, especially leadership, really were difference makers for every team he played on.

talksalot83
He sure did. Glove side was Patterson's weakness while it's a strength for Wilcox. I honestly believe Wilcox would have made that save as he has the quickest glove of any Gopher goalie I've ever seen including Stauber.
